40 % of the food in america is thrown away. This is a worldwide disaster- people die from hunger or thirst, and you throw away food or wash everyday. You are the bad guys, not the thief on the street :(

I can't believe this is actually happeining HERE in the U.S. I mean, this is like a bad dream...God please help these people, and help the people helping them. Don't let the Gov't cut this food program and let the food be as healthy as the gov't allows.

its sad, so much people are in pain and in hunger in this country and texas903g is right the government doesn't really give much a damn. there sitting fat and happy watching us hard working people suffer. if the government wants to help they could start by have a resource based economy and also start by making college free for everyone without having to pay stupid impossible loans. Think about it!! most crime in the world have been the cause of what?...........lack of resources!!!!!!!!!

While I am sure any food is appreciated if they truly want to serve "nutritious food" they would serve whole wheat or whole grain instead of that white pasta and white bread they served. Was a fruit and/or vegetable included in that meal?

A college degree is no guarantee of a better future. A lot of people will be paying off that debt for a reallllllllll long time, which will make saving and investing even harder to do. Also, not everyone is college material, so drop the gangsta label. How surprising would it be, if some of those did have a college degree. People don't see it, because no one ever asks.

I bet you're the same person who thinks that just because they have a degree, they're entitled to a job.
