  • hello mr baksh , great video man. i was a pupil in your class once. later bro

  • Hey Naz, that's a cool video. Love the arm... looks like fun to play with. A suggestion though, if you use a "fluid' instead of "air" you may be able to fine tune the movements. The reason is that air is compressable, while a fluid is not so you should get a more exact response to your leaver movements. Just a little something I learned from hydraulics :-) I'm fixing excavators now!

  • Great, simple enough!

  • nicely done mr baksh........

  • @warlawd15 Tnx dude

  • a a Mr Baksh..very nice I may say..

  • Very Kool Naz, very clever and simple design. do you think though if the syringes were filled with liquid, say oil ...........making it more a hydraulic type design, that the precision of the movements would increase? would get messy though if the syringe popped out as it did in the end there aye :-)

  • @happystar1000 I try it with water and it popped out making a messs,. The movements with the liquid was a bit too jerky and not fluid (pardon the pun).

  • This is awesome! I wish we could do something like this in school.

  • @Riamika28 Tnx dudet

  • @Riamika28 it is not difficult to build, if you put your mind to it, have a nice day

  • @nazrubee Mr.Baksh whats up!!

  • wow this is cool :)

  • @MadameOctapie Tnx octapie you are so lucky and cool to have eight arms I only have one(robotic arm) and it pops out sometimes as you have seen , have nice day.

  • Good stuff... My only suggestion is to use a light machine oil instead of air in the syringes. That should make the arms more responsive since the effect of air compression/expansion would be eliminated.

  • @triniman62 i tried a liquid and it was able to lift a greater mass and the syringes responded very well but they occassionally popped making a mess. The air compressing and slowly expanding air gave the arm a fluid movement rather than a jerky one produced by the liquid.

  • Excellent project. I'm curious as to the formal definition of robotic though. Is this considered a robotic device or a pneumatic device?

    -n

  • @VexXxDogg it is a pneumatic device but according to the oxford dictionary (2002)robotic meant " behaving in a mechanical or unemotional way". also robot ment "a machine that resembles and can act like a person" hence robotic arm.

  • Excellent!

  • nice work Naz...... creative yet simple..... good job....

  • Fantastic simple demonstration of hydraulic control. Good job Naz.

  • Wow cool, yet simple. I want one. It moves so quickly compared to other motorized designs... and it is 'green' too :-) You can add another hinge at the base of the main vertical tower so that it can move the fingers backward and forward

  • @SamsundarX how soon do you want one ?

  • quintessential Naz Masha Allah

  • Bro Naz you got inventive talent Alhamdu lillah
