Hilarious! Need to get one for my staff. She loves tug of war and destroying massive sticks. Surleyguru is right, they have requirements to work ALL their muscles including their well developed jaws. If yuo don't you end up with a Staff that chews your furniture instead. If this was hurting the dog in any way, it would let go!
staffs were bred for dogfighting and hunting in the 1800s the staffordshire bull terrier is a working dog. also staffs have the highest pain threshold out of any breed. swinging on trees is easy for staffs they could do it all day whoever said its bad for them dosnt know fuckall.
Hi Noodlechild666. I think staffy's were bred for this type of activity, at first with bull catching next with dogfighting and ratting. As a breed they probably can physically and emotionally handle this activity.
@eleven38 emm dont know if you noticed but this comment was like 2 years ago mate and no i think not google it, to even put the the words rat and staff together is shame full!
@deano386 your clearly an idiot with no knowledge of the history of sbt breed, going by your profile pic, ur a stereotyped chavvy teen, complete with baseball cap, its mongs like you that bring shame to the breed
@eleven38 hahaha listen at you haha how old are you like 12?? chav from wales yeah right cuz we love to walk around with our ratting dogs dont we haha gimp, you ant even got a dog mate iv got to lovely red dog and a bitch not used for nothing more than pets part of the family unlike your self who uses them as a tool!
@eleven38 twat read what i said and when i said it instead of bumping up an old post2years2late cock boy. and cuz im sooo good looking(lol) to put my pic up un like your but ugly face only a mother could love haha
@deano386 anndd one more thing your a junky mate look at the tunes on your page haha sitting there in your room boping your heading grinding your theath on you own tripping balls hahaha sad cunt!
Im glad my Staffords dont do this. Its compulsive and obsessive behaviour, and can cause spinal injury, and broken teeth (as a vet nurse ive seen plenty of these injuries)
One of mine occasionally grabs some branches, but id never let him hang from one, firstly because its a health risk, and secondly because it can cause behavioural problems, such as dominance or aggression. Im not saying its wrong, but i question the point of it. Dogs should be walked to burn off energy, not placed at risk.
@noodlechild666 I'm so happy you don't own an apbt, hope you never will. However even your cur amstaff needs to be worked, otherwise it's plain animal cruelty. Just walking a working dog is unhealthy, and no they do not get aggressive or dominant by doing this. You're no vet nurse, you're a keyboard hero. You fail so bad.
@noodlechild666 Its clear you dont understand the breed, or its function. They have oversized jaw muscles for hanging so hanging is actually benefition to there mental and physical well being. Just walking any of the bully breeds is not sufficent exercise. They are a performance breed not content to go at a lazy persons pace. So if you dont have the enery to keep up dont get one.
they never give in lol and she really can jump staffys r the best u should visit my staffy site where there is loads of staffy lovers it is like myspace and it is free.
DAMN that staff can jump high just a quick question im thinking about buying a blue boy staffy to play with my girl staffy but is there a way to know if they will have a big head or not?
Not too sure that this is good .. I am certain I will be shot down for saying perhaps this is not good for the dog.. I don't teach my Staffie to hang on to anything or to tug of war as I believe it to be an influence toward agression.. all I am saying is perhaps it is something to be careful with as the dog appears to become obsessive..
I agree with you. Not saying that sallis65 is doing anything to hurt the dog, I believe the dog is enjoying it. But they seem to get very obsessive about it.
that dog is just playing, nothing wrong with it, and u dont hav to get mad about people having there own opinion, u odviously dont know much about dogs know matter wat u say. dont bother sending me a reply cause i wont be readin it.fuck it ur blocked.
I don't see any dog videos on your site.. why not have a look at my videos of my Staffies ... and Rottie.
I am not mad at your comments .. just wonder what qualifies you to say what you do ... I have spent a lifetime of 54 years with horses and dogs and I am qualified as an instructor... and I don't need to resort to the F word either ... cool down !!
Well I never! I thought I had the only mad staffy in the world that likes to hang off trees etc and squeak a lot lol. She's adorable your Cassie, please keep the videos coming. We're only 8 miles from you going by your other videos, so if you ever see a red brindle staffy hanging off a tree in the vicinity...that'll be us! lol :-)
flip lol!!!!!!!wow im gettign a staffy next week, from my mate its being born :) and wen its old er im tria it to be a therapy dog,nad it can waight pull, and high jump,n stuff
thats supposed to be the best way to exercise staffordshire bull terriers when there hanging it work all the body! great looking staffy mine will never hang like that my two prefer tug a war.
A Rope hanging from a "spring pile" is better, let the dogs back legs stay on the ground, it's like doing crunches and really works the whole body. This leave out the legs

@noodlechild666 You are obviously new to Staffys. Spinal Injuries? Broken teeth? They laugh at that and beg for more.
