I beg to disagree that Nicolette has little or no potential of bagging the Miss Universe crown, She is stunningly beautiful, and intelligent. Yeah, she needs just a little catwalk skills and just a little body toning and that can be done in a short time. No offense to Venus, but i believe the organizers made the right decision by sending Nicolette to the Miss U pageant because they're looking for someone who can speak clearly not struggling for words just what Venus did in the Q&A portion.
I guess it boils down to politics. I did a little research on who this Aranate is and she was the first miss Int'l from Colombia married to a filipino(?). It's not fair for her to handle Filipino Pageantry as she's not a Filipina by heart, I don't think . She may have adapted filipino values after years of living there perhaps. I just want to see Phlippines make a mark in this world again( besides Pacquiao)! hehehehe. Mabuhay!
