Thanks so much for your videos... I've taught myself how to knit because of them. Question: I'm using the same colors as you in the same order so... If my pattern calls for me to knit 2 of the white.. does it still work the way you've shown, just knitting 2 white then 2 black?
This video is great! I'm sorry for the random question, but sometimes i always wonder, what is she doing this for? I'm thinking maybe a sweater for a child? anyway. thanks for so many awesome videos! I watch everyday! :)
Does weaving in the tail while knitting cause those stitches to be slightly larger than your other stitches? I hate sewing my ends in the work and this seams like a great way to avoid sewing. Thanks for this videos!
yes, the stitches are double, but you hardly notice it on the finished work and it saves a lot of time. thanks for writing. please keep watching and look for me on facebook too.
Thanks so much! I'm new to fair isle, and my first attempt was rather puckered, so this technique will certainly help with that. Also, I've never seen anyone taking the tail and knitting it in line that. It confused me at first until I realized that you're basically weaving it in that way. Very interesting and informative. Thank you again.
hi what I met was Im at the top middle and Im about to do crownso as I knit it has to get smaller and smaller how if I still want to take design on up to top..Also i want to do a moose and the rest a nother color where shall I go. for instructions
You won't be able to do much of a pattern as the hat gets smaller. Draw a picture on graph paper and try to follow it as you knit for the moose. good luck.
I am very new to knitting. I love your videos they have been very helpful. Any time I am having a knitting problem I come here and so far you have shown me how to solve my knitting problem. Thanks to your fair isle video I now have the confidence to make a fair aisle cap I have been wanting to knit.
honestly, the knittingtipsbyjudy are the best. They are the most clear, and easiest to understand. Judy goes just fast enough, and not too fast, and gives exactly the tips you need as she goes along. I love it!
Thank you. Your videos are wonderful... I don't understand how adding the color doesn't make it "lumpy" where you are knitting in both the tail and the regular yarn for the stitch...
I've only been knitting for about a year now. I am noticing that advanced knitters hold their hands so that they don't have to let go of the yarn for every stitch. No one ever taught me how to knit, i just kind of learned from a book. I love your "how-to" videos. They are the best! Do you or can you make a video that helps with holding your yarn in your hands properly so that i might be a faster knitter? Thanks so much!
OH! Thank you so, so much! I was searching, and searching for something to help me learn this, and you made this so easy for me to understand! Again, thank you. Keep making these wonderful videos. :D
thanks for watching. Glad I could help. Please keep watching for new videos. I try to put a new one up every week. Also, I'd appreciate it if you'd click on the ads. It helps me at Youtube. Happy knitting.

thanks i understand it, but how do you end the hat .
krglongbourn 1 year ago
after the decreases, cut off the yarn and, using a large eyed needle, pull the yarn through all the stitches. weave in the ends.

I talk about holding the yarn on either of my videos called e-mail questions answered or knitting tips. Watch both of them for tips like that.
Thanks for writing.
