@perfectshot77 You're right. I did not notice that before. That's probably why the players are using the cut break instead of traditionally trying to make the wing ball. Usually if you place the cue ball near the cushion and aim squarely at the head ball,you often make the wing ball,assuming all the balls are frozen.
I also wonder if this method of racking was implemented before in Mosconi Cup matches during 2009 or even before.
