WTF are they talking about, anytime some female Soldier screams rape the male Soldier gets severely punished before they are kicked out the Army. The Command will punish the male Soldier and then all the males that are the female Soldier's friends kick the rapists ass. Sometimes they're sodomized. =)

women should be in army but not as infantry or any other arms dept. They shud be in medical wing only .

One of the reasons is coz they are physically weak than men and wud not be safe in case of hand to hand combat or to bring the wounded back.

All depends on what type of people are joining the army , some are high school dropouts and some are good people .

Hi I'm young and have a very long time..but I want to be in the Army when I get older. I did a ton of research and still never found out if women could go in combat or not? Can someone please tell me?

@Sweethorse14 Generally speaking, the military is something to avoid. It's something one shouldn't want to join, it's something one should realize one has to join when times calls for it.

The reason is simply that the environment isn't as nice and romanticised as the advertisments and appearences from a distance is making it out to be. I did 1 year in the Swedish army, but let's face it, it's not the same as being in an army that has been in active wars since it was founded. Reality is ugly.

This military rape thing reminds me of the experiment they did where a few women were placed on an island with 95% men.

They wanted to see what would happen in a 20 or 30 to 1 environment male to female. Pompei experiment I think it was called as when they excavated the bodies from the volcanic ash they found many people were having sex.

there is no justification for this. doesn't the military teach and enforce INTEGRITY? Integrity means doing the right thing even when no one is looking. A man's weakness in restraining his lower brain and keeping himself from reverting back to inhumane animal tendencies is NOT our fault. How dare you keep us from running and walking alone. I served in the USAF for 15 years and retired. I was never raped, but did experience verbal harassment on many occasions. I just learned to think quick and have a better come back.

Because a girl did a threesome with a married couple and her husband found out so she cried rape. Any reported case is investigated and we are not tought to stay quiet. I have been to other countries where women and men do not compete against each other but complement each other and respect each other. Men don't get respect simply for being men. Indeed, it takes a man quite a lot of effort to gain respect. There is no easy way.

For women, there is an easy way that defies all reason, or they can earn it like men do. I have respect for the women in the video because they are speaking out.

My advice. If you want respect, earn it and learn to respect others.

Your reasoning works BOTH WAYS. If men stop committing in any relationship with women, the same things happen.

If you ask me, I think many men at least have a sense of morality compared to some women. There is decadence in both sexes, but while men were violent, they at least had guilt.

And don't forget about your "feminist movement". When women wanted a domestic violence bill, it was men who supported it.

Why don't we all stop breeding and let humanity and all its troubles die away?

Very true. Women in Islam are actually free while women in the US feel the need to compete with men and even control men (just look at all the comments for this video). The real horrifying crimes are being committed against iraquis, not against American women. What about the thousands of innocent civilians in Guantanamo? While I agree, the US military does need to do more to protect its people from themselves. Kudos to the woman who resigned because she disagreed with invading Iraq.

The way America treats its active (and returned) service people is often abhorrent. Smaller 'special forces' units which are well vetted, trained and educated are far more effective as both soldiers and peace-keepers.

Germany has a military, however, it is, unlike the american version, no longer engaged in the wholesale invasion and occupation of the middle east. Japan too has a military, but refrains from invading other countries. Militaristic engagement signifies an abscence of valid intellectual, mercantile and social engagement. Invasion rather than trade is so 20th century, America should move to better things.
