Then, the privatized prison corporations who lock up the non-violent drug offenders. Even the pharmaceutical industry profits from prohibition because it has less competition. Why would they want patients growing their own medicine? They want them hooked on their drugs, not a natural plant that they cant monopolize.

where was Walters getting his information from?? such a dick.... first of all, if someone who acted violently had marijuana in his system, it doesn't mean that was the contributing factor, he doesn't really say that there are other factors like alcohol which does cause violent behaviors.... Legalize it and gangs will have no control over the people that do use it... Let the people choose to smoke it or not, just like alcohol, it's legal but most choose not to drink.
