The morals at the end of the episodes have been lost due to when the show went into syndication in 90's, they were chopped off to add more commericials and nobody seems to know what happended to them. All that is left of the morals endings is from fans who happened to own a vcr and record the episodes that included the morals.
@darkdominance911 if you are referring about the Jeannie Shazzan and twins or brother and sister Chuck and Nancy?. Capt Marvel came way before Shazzan was created. If your are talking about the modern day comic book of Captain Marvel. I don't acknowledge the stories, nor have I read them.
Why has no one released Shazam on DVD? Isis was released years ago! Come on powers that be! Ignore any idiot saying he will sue and release them! Pay him a lump sum and get on with it already!
@lavvy2585 I hope you don't work for those who own the copyrights of Shazam but I did buy a 4 episode tape of Shazam back in the 80's at a Star Trek convention. I also bought one with Isis. But they weren't very good quality and the Shazam tape likes to stick inside the VCR so I don't play it anymore. It was actually from the first season I think. the one where Billy tries to help a kid at a camp. The guy who played Capt Marvel looked a little high in the close-ups. lol
@sallyjosie Yeah, I bet I have the same exact tape...Bought it on Ebay...I agree with those comments too. But even today, some 37 years later, I kinda like em'.
@karlwho1 I like them too. I know they are a little campy (no pun intended, see my comment above) but they are still enjoyable. Still I have to laugh at the one episode where Danny Bonaduce where they set a lab or classroom on fire. I laugh because at the end Danny's character and the characters 2 friends actually seem happy that they are going to the sheriff to confess their transgression. It was kind of like "Oh boy, we get to confess and go to Juvenile Hall". LOL
You notice this would be the closest the Captain Marvel and Isis would appear together as during the regular show they never did when Jackson Bostwick played Captain Marvel, it would not come until later when he was wrongfully fired and replaced by John Davey to play the part and then and only then they did a few crossover shows.
The Isis talk portion here was actually one of the end-show morals bits that JoAnna was disappointed the home video omits. I really liked these shows.
@mizzday1 Yes and that actor was Terry Lester (1950-2003), who played the character of Jonah on Ark II (1976-1977), which like Isis, was produced by Filmation Studios. Years later, he acted on soap operas such as The Young and The Restless (as Jack Abbott) and Santa Barbara.
@YodaBannon Kids today could use some shows like this. In retrospect, I can see how the sociopolitical themes of all the Filmation live action shows made an impact on me, even though I didn't recognize it at the time. Back then, I was no doubt thinking, "Shut up and change the weather already!," "Shouldn't you be flying?," "What would happen if Isis and Captain Marvel met on the Love Boat?"
i remember isis from 52... sad history =/

It's funny how Capt Marvel was the young hero when the Shazzam twins were invented.
And then he became the adult Capt Marval but what ever happen to the SHazzamz?
respect

Isis shouldn't have been paired up with Capt Marvel.
She should have been paired up with someone else from ancient Egyptian myth, such as Osiris or Horus.
