Nice video, you just have to practice more your hips movements, sometimes i think it's too "tough", you have to move like the hips are not connected to the rest of the body. Stretch yourself before practice, it helps you to improve the movements :)
way to go! Even if you were technically sound, you had a PERSONALITY to your dancing, which is more then can be said for some of your critics. Only thing I can recommend is learning proper posture, tuck your tail bone under, relax your shoulders and lift your chest so you don't injure your back. Keep smiling and KEEP DANCING!
I think over all it was a good performance.. You seemed a little stiff, particularly with the arm movements, and you moved a bit rapidly and a little off-time with the music..
But, all in all, it was an enjoyable performance, and it showed promise and potential. Just keep practicing. :D
Ok, unlike some LenUtah's on here i fo rone encourage you too keep at it girl. You're just starting out. So can't expect to be technically perfect yet. We all have to start somewhere.
I've been dancing 8 1/2 years now, and i love it. Keep up the good work and positive atttude.
P.S I think you would suit the gypsy/tribal look down to a t. Well done -pat on the back. And remember. It's all about enjoying yourself in the process.
Thanks Aqua, that's why I dance and that's why I share. I don't aim to be the best (good thing right? lol) I aim to encourage others to try it. If I can try so can others. ;)
I'm also a beginner and not so bad as she danced: S but ok, each dance as you know. But give a tip, she had to see more videos on youtube or something;)
