See that's why I don't like this game. The punches sound like someone thumping a pillow on the floor and they don't even look as realistic as a Fight Night game I owned for Xbox 1. also saying it's just button mashing is stupid, perhaps that's how u play but the only people u'll beat online r other button mashers & people who don't know what they're doing. i've gotta defend this guy for keeping his hands up though, that's what i usually do because if they see u protecting the body they usually just go 4 a headkick or something. if they start going 2 the body i usaully try and catch it and get a clinch or takedown.

it has got online gameplay and it's the best part of the game imo. sometimes it is very tactical and tense with both people mixing up striking and grappling and other times there is like an unspoken agreement to keep it standing and u just end up having a kickboxing fight, both types are fun. @fame925- yes you can create your own fighter. i prefer this game to fight night personally, the gameplay is just more varied and fun imo, but then again i prefer mma to boxing so perhaps i'm bias.

@000haris000 Actually i prefer Boxing to the UFC. I loved Fight Night Round 3 but i was disappointed in 4. Boxing is a lot better sport in my opinion. I just preferred the gameplay of UFC this year. I love the one on one of boxing where if you get rocked you have to fight back and not be able to take somebody down or try and submit them if your hurt.

the graphics don't look that great I guess they are marketing to keep making improvements down the line (ufc 2010, ufc 2011, etc) The ref should have actually went in to stop the fight too, looked odd the way the fight ended.

i can get easy ko in the demo in less then a minute.

for showgun- slap some jabs and go for a clinch, mui thai him with your knees to his face until he fall, then go for a fast tko.

lidell- go for some superman punchs quickly, until he falls.

another tip- after a referee stands you up, go quickly for a high kick, if your opponent is even a bit damaged, it will connect most of the times for a ko.
