Blood testing is only used as screening test because it is a lot cheaper. Urine test is more complete & accurate that's why it can confirm what is found in blood test, not the other way around. You should always be mentally focused when you're ready to fight. That's a major part of your training. Athletes take blood test when they are ordered to at any given time. Who knows there may be a chemist who developed some type of drug enhancer in the philippines that can be be detected within 48hrs.

The Drug called EPO (Erythropoietin) is a hard drogue to test for because it gets out of your system pretty fast. Analysis of the blood can produce a 90 per cent certainty of EPO use within the previous 20 days, while the urine sampling indicates its use in the previous three days. This is why the 24 days is wanted instead of 14. This is also why it cant be random because you have to load on it for 14 days taking it every other day and after that take once every 7 days.

i see no point on manny or any other pro boxer to use EPO. why? because it's synthetic red blood cels that makes your blood increse oxygen levels going to the heart = better endurance, lower heart beat rate. It's a drug commonly used by pro cyclists to cover 280 kms and still have juice to climb for ex. the alps on the later stages of a tour. Boxer's road work is not even close to over 280 kms in a pro tour stage! I'd understand if he uses EPO for cardio excercices but it means that he has the endurance of a 5 year old! the difference is a possible blood test within the 30 days before the fight.
nevada commision does not do these tests. ASADA DOES.
we are not talking about urine testing numnuts. we are talking blood. Blood test find more drugs.
Pacioid doesnt want to be tested during those 30 days because that when he will be using the drugs.

Mayweather is only asking that the USADA (U.S.anti-doping agency) be a used as an independant tester for both of them. This is the agency that the olympics uses. Only a tablespoon or so will be taken and only a couple of times if that. NOTHING to drain you. Thats just BULL.

Blood testing is only used as screening test because it is a lot cheaper. Urine test is more complete & accurate that's why it can confirm what is found in blood test, not the other way around. For this reason it's more expensive. Floyd wants random blood test to weaken Manny physically & mentally for his personal gain. If Floyd wants blood test for the good of boxing then we should expect him to demand blood test on all his future fights. If not, he's really scared to lose to Manny.

Manny is humble and helpful when it comes to his countrymen. However, I don't see the point of taking a teaspoon of blood can make you weak and mentally unfocused. You should always be mentally focused when you're ready to fight. That's a major part of your training. Athletes take blood test when they are ordered to at any given time. Who knows there may be a chemist who developed some type of drug enhancer in the philippines that can be be detected within 48hrs.

Going through a blood test drains your body and causes swelling and tenderness in the area of the shot for some time after the puncture. The current urine detection method for sports related banned substances does not adequately detect (Hgh) and its' ability to detect EPO is somewhat controversial.
Plus, the current methods related to detecting Hgh in blood samples are only useful for about 48 hrs after injection; after which the tests reliability drops dramatically.
