  • how do we know if the pumps are working?

  • Install one A/C in your Desktop room.

  • defenetely getting this to replace i7 stock cooler -.-

  • Looks great

  • would have been far more interesting if that shit music wasn't there. so I'll buy a CoolIT ECO A.L.C. CPU Cooler. better, cheaper and a far better bloody video clip.

Seems Corsair think that everyone that builds top end gaming computers are brain dead headbangers.

  • dose the fan and radiator require a 4 pin each?

  • worth putting this on my XBOX360 gpu?

  • how many dB when idle & high performance (playing)?

  • i have this on my i7 920@4ghz and it is great. never even gets to 60 degrees max load

  • i have this on my i7 920@4ghz and it is great! never gets to 60 degrees max load

  • i want to buy a new pc with i5 proccessor. Is sure that H50 cooler does not match with 1156 socket?

  • It matches most intel socket types as it comes with adapters. Check the video response to this video.

  • i think its 1336 and 775 mate.. is 1156/1336 not nearly the same?

  • @mrix2000, I thought the same thing but after testing it does not one bit. I get exact same temps either way. The fluid must be moving fast in order for it not to matter I'm guessing. So the pipes work better on the top since it keeps them out of the way. Seems like most people who install the H50 do it that way anyway.

  • should the fan next t o the radiator be pushing air in or out?

  • @Alwyn1000

It should push the hot air out.

You dont want it to blow the hot air back in your system.

  • Hot air from inside the case going over the radiator and out wont do much.

Any normal cooler has hot air circulating on the inside, whats the difference?

  • @KNOPPERS47

stop talkin' shit, the performance with it pushing hot air out is a joke!

  • I'm thinking of getting these but do I need to fill water or anything in?

Do I have to install a back plate which is located behind the motherboard?

Will it work on my P5BW-LA motherboard which has Q6600?

  • its pre-filled and yes you do have to add a back plate

  • Surely the radiator in this video has been inserted the wrong way around? as I would have thought a radiator would function better with the intake pipes at the bottom as heat rises? or doesnt it matter????

  • whats better a intel or a amd?

amd is very cheap, intel is very expensive!

amd have much of power, intel have got more power..

so i would choose a very good amd for a budget gaming pc for highend you should get a intel :D

    its your opinion

btw sry for my bad enlgish :(

  • If you bought this from a retail store, can you return it? Because after I opened the box, there was a paper inside said "STOP, DO NOT RETURN THIS BACK TO THE STORE" What the hell is it

  • @jincuteguy they mean "if you have a problem with the product, call customer service first"

alot of times people want to return or exchange because they are missing parts, but if you call customer service, they will send you replacement parts and usually free of charge.

  • This cooler is sh**! ok don^t get me dong the cooler maybe good! but the fact that the am2+ mountingbraket is not supported is just bullcrap. I had to order it from NL and pay 5 bucks for the shipping..but the braket was free..wtf! Why the fu**ing hell didn^t you just also put it into the box!!

  • All you had to do was call up corsair and they would of shipped it out AIR to you for free. IDIOT!

  • WooW! really -..- that's what i wrote! But not for free..no .. for 5 Dollars!

  • I've got no fucking idea bro! AMD is 1/2 or even less of an Intel ...and AMD has the same power ...^^

  • AMD costs half the price for a reason. They are far less powerful. The phenom II X4 at a lot of tasks was beaten by a Core 2 Duo.

  • A mid range core 2 duo at that.

  • Show me an AMD CPU that can be compared to i7. AMD doesn't have the same power as Intel.

  • @anpe1001 Phenom II 965 :D prittty decent ...but AMD beats Intel in value

  • true, i am both an intel and amd enthusiast :D

but I prefer intel because the value is greater in the long run. for example having it for 2+ years

  • yeah but heres some food for thought you think you got value ? guess what a new mother board comes out , your old board is slowing down do to some random flash or bad capacitor or its unsupported , the sad truth is your great new cpu cannot be migrated to a new board you will have to start all over again , with amd all socket am2 boards can run at least 2 of the phenom 2 version s :D amp pwn intel at bang for buck and future proofing imo

  • because we do actual benchmarks we can totally see that intel gives us 50% more than AMD, Right

  • Is there any chance this'll work if you can only fit a 80mm fan? Probably not but...anyone?

  • no it wont fit

  • well i think that you can fit an 80mm fan on it but you need something different to mount it with then screws (duck tape or tie warps will do it :P).

or do you mean that your case doesnt fit this fan and only fits 80mm?

  • Yes I mean my CASE only fits 80mm in the rear.

  • ah, then it doesnt fit :P

  • what about filling the dumb thing?

  • it is already filled when you buy it.... its sealed...

  • then what about evaporation over prolonged use.

  • It's completely sealed, thus cannot evaporate into the air. ROFL

  • So for some reason you think there is no possibility of evaporation over time...so you've never had something "sealed" with a liquid inside that for some reason over a long period of time DISAPPEARS! People have liquid cooling systems Sealed tight and the water level over time goes down...it's not leaking and I'm sure the only extra steps corsair did was glue pieces to stay shut.

  • They used low-permeability tubing to eliminate evaporation. And yes, I've had a display wine bottle sealed for 15 years and the liquid inside has never "disappeared" or gone down even a little bit. ROFL!

  • its a sealed system so i dont think any liquid will be lost

  • ah so we can use any 120mm fan say like a blue led fan from Corsair?

  • any 120mm will be fine

  • Here a new review about the Corsair H50, compared with CoolIt Domino A.L.C. and with Thermalright IFX-14:

    informaticaeasy[.]net/le-mie-review/620-corsair-hydro-series-h50-vs-coolit-domino-alc-vs-ifx-14.html

P.S.: the link works removing the two " [ "

  • Right now i have a stock cooler for my e8400 so does that mean i already have a back plate and i dont have to take my mobo off? also do i have to use that radiator fan or can i use the exhaust fan i alreasy have? also 120mm. thanks

  • No you don't have a back plate on your motherboard. You need to use the back plate that comes with the kit.

  • This cooler is cheaper than the oem asetek version which is pwnage

  • hey web marketing guy :D, do you know when 800D gonna be available in europe? i need to build a PC this month..

  • I want that case SO BAD D:

  • Very cool man. I go to buy this cooler. Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • Will this work in the Antec 1200 and do you have to install a backplate for the screws to screw in to? Will you hook a brother up and give me a "test" version? lol

  • so u will not need to refill coolant?

  • I'm sure you do eventually, probably after about 2 years, which conveniently is how the long the warranty is on this product. Looks good otherwise, but would like to be able to refill the coolant. Anyone know any more about this?

  • Says on their website 'integrated pump and reservoir is sealed for zero maintenance and improved leakage protection'.

Also, depending on the liquid they use, they may be able to overcome evaporation issues, eliminating the need to refill the system - a lot like Asetek's LCLC.

  • very bad cooling -.-

i know this from the asetek lclc....

    e7200@ 3,8ghz ---> 82°C

intel stock cooler ----> 45°C at 100% load

  • This isn't the same thing. It's based off the asetek but it's using corsairs design for radiator and coldplate and tubing (and maybe pump too, not sure about that).

  • is this thing better then the coolit domino? I doubt its better then the freezone elite though but this should contend with the domino

  • So is this like a mini watercooling, Where does the coolant go? Will there be more to the Hydro series? Also have you any idea on how much the Corsair 800D Case is gonna cost?

  • The coolant is already in the unit, and it is sealed. There is no fillport.

I can't comment on future products, sorry.

The case will be available for around $299 US.

  • i dont believe its maintenance free for ever?

  • It has a 2 year warranty, so I would say at least 2 years actually. :)

  • r u ramguy?

  • I'm the web marketing guy.

  • $79 US

  • Awesome! By the way, what happened to your gaming case??

  • If a user combines this cooler with ARCTIC COOLING fan, the system will be completely silent.

    Good job guys.

PS: Do a user has to replace the liquid inside the cooler ever?
