I remember this gig - I think I was drafted by the promoter to be one of the human bulkheads keeping people from tripping over the frontline monitors. I also managed to blag my way onto the roof of Plymouth's then-new Virgin Megastore when they played a set there (until killjoys in a nearby insurance office moaned about the noise).
The Family Cat also played a blinder supporting - and upstaging - Carter USM at the Cornwall Coliseum. A criminally underrated band!
