So sorry I to have lost my Mom in 2002. About 1 hour before she went to heaven she was taking to her MOM and Jesus and I knew that were there to take her to Heaven. It will take some time and you never forget but you will learn to cope. You will always shed a tear now and then .This movie is comforting knowing theres Peace on the other side.
It's always good to have a witness; thanks for sharing. It's such a shame we don't movies today with this kind of a message of love and family. One day though - many will understand Jesus is Lord of all.
I just purchased this movie from EBAY. This movie is a treasure for young and old. I remember seeing this movie for the first time on AMC about 23 yrs ago. I could watch this over and over again. If only we had more Gramps like this. Thanks for posting this clip
You're more than welcome. This movie has always touched me deeply. I have watched it w/my mother several times across these long years. We nearly always shed a few tears; I suppose knowing one day it would be my own mother who'd be called by Mr. Brink. Sure enough it happened this past Dec.8th. It will be a while before I can watch this movie again..
Great seeing that Lionel Barrymore was capable of happier acting roles than 'Mr. Potter' of "It's A Wonderful Life".
