The only reason I even remotely liked this game was because of this level + background. It was around here that the game stopped being awful (until it went back to being such).
@LoneWulf428 I disagree almost completely with that statement. This game always mesmerized me in a way that no other Castlevania game has since- until Dawn of Sorrow came along.
It feels deliberately detached from the rest of the Castlevania universe. It has the quality of Symphony, but there's more sadness to it, hence the name. This is just my opinion, but it's sad that perhaps, there will never be a Castlevania game quite like this again.
they put in alot of features that almost maxed the GBA's performance, as a result the music was lacking. however, this gives me such a retro feeling that I've grown to make this game one of my favorites of all time.
@maxsayo I read the real reason behind the lacking music quality is because the devs ended up breaking the sound chip halfway into development and so had to compromise by editing what they had.
there's actually a much better arranged version which you can find on file planet, was done by an actual orchestra. that version is probably how it would sound if the music wasn't skimped.

They should make another game like this, with such a surreal and haunting atmosphere, even for Castlevania stadards.

The graphics seemed more colorful than the rest of the Castlevania's. But this is one game I would not care to play through again

"OST" means "Official Sound Track". It's the collection of songs, not a single song.
This is one of the only song SONGS you can stand from the game. Idiot.
