How can anyone believe that God came down to Earth to suffer a horrible, painful death because mankind is evil and sinful. Wouldn't that make people feel bad about themselves? If I believed that Jesus did that then I would feel horrible. I just don't understand how people can stand up and say that Jesus dying was the greatest thing ever. The man died because we all suck and you're happy about it and celebrating it. It's hard for me to believe that people embrace Christianity.

This says nothing about the deity of the Christ. Jesus the Christ is everything because HE WAS GOD not because He was the perfect man. Man is just man. He was GOD. Big difference. Still, I want you to prove that you have never sinned or harmed anyone in your life. Otherwise, your claim is totally groundless and worse, the exact opposite of your own personal experience and lifestyle. Please, prove that you have never sinned and never wronged a single person in your life.

I don’t think it was much of a sacrifice.

Jesus is supposed to be God, so he knew when he died he was not dying, he was going to reign over everything for ever. Not much of a sacrifice, if your conclusion is not death.

Who would not gladly offer themselves up to a the torture he went through if their reward was reigning as king over all.

You go and know that you are going to be tortured for hours, have your back turned into hamburger, then have a heavy post of rough wood placed on it and be forced to carry the instrument of your destruction step after step in pain. Jesus, God the Son, knew well what it would be. That is why He asked for another way and why his blood pressure was so high capillaries burst and blood emitted from His pores. I defy you to go through with that sacrifice!

I do not know that at all. God was created by man to explain the unexplainable, and to control people. There is no evidence of god’s existence.

There is over whelming evidence the bible is an absurd collection of magic and horror stories, filled with genocide, oppression, and fantasy.

If god knew he was to live in paradise as ruler, and his death was not real, it is not much of a sacrifice.

Nothing you wrote even exists in the bible.

Then you know nothing allowing you to argue this matter. If you do not understand the definition of sovereignty or the logical relationship between the creator of a thing and the creation, then, you lack any knowledge that would allow you to intelligently debate this matter.

Also, your last three statements are false claims with no evidence (AKA facts not in evidence). You need to post an argument with numbered premises and a conclusion, Otherwise, this is ignorance.

Doesn't that make you feel bad about yourself? According to your beliefs, everyone on Earth is a horrible, sinning monster. How can you believe that? People who dedicate their lives to finding the cures for diseases and spend their lives helping others are monsters according to you. For me, it's hard to believe anyone could embrace that idea.
