  • how do you make the angelfish reef safe?

  • @dablive1 You can't they eat most corals apart from sps and very poisonous soft corals

  • Awesome tank!!

  • i thought angels werent suppose to be with corals, or are they reef safe just with caution? nice tank

  • Over 80% of fish are taken from the wild, using destructive practices.

  • @forthefishes any proof?

  • I love that emperor. The lines on mine are still straightening out. How long have you had him? Check out my tank that I posted up.

  • Do a little research. In Hawaii where I live there are many people who are trying to stop fish collecting. Check out forthefishesdotorg. Or look up vanuatu tropical aquarium fish harvest on youtube to see the problems there. Once a fish is in a tank, it's life is shortened considerably, plus it can never replenish itself in the ocean. It is gone for good. There are fish from Hawaii who can only be seen in aquariums becaue they have been over collected,

  • @konafishlover awwww thank you for your pointless input

  • Not cool. Coral reefs are being decimated by fish collectors for aquariums.

Saltwater tanks are death for fish and destruction for the environment.

  • @konafishlover no they arent they are being decimated by asians and their whaling and comercial market in sushi and other rare fish to simply just eat them so gtfo and stfu

  • @mads14nz I agree completely, it's not like we're taking them and eating them.

  • @konafishlover Actually, many people buy captive bred fish.

  • how do you keep your rock so clean

  • the Angel is perfect :) i like it

  • I was thinking about starting a reef tank. I know its expensive but I've saved up a few thousand dollars and wanted a 125 gallon one. I just was curious though do coral require live rock to be connected to?.. Can you like put them in said or is the live rock have nutrients they need to survive. Or is it just like the stability of being attached to rocks that they need? Great tank by the way! Emperor fish are my favorite to look at.

  • what that tank? how much is it?

  • nice angel in there

  • has the angel tried to eat your shrimp?

  • That emperor angel fish is beautiful!

  • get more fish!

  • hey i also have a 125 gallon salt water aquarium and i am wanting to put coral/anemones in there but i am not sure how many watts of light i need for it. i am asking you because i noticed that you had a couple of corals and anemones in there.

    thank you very much

  • about a 1,000 watts lol

    i have a 135 ( same thing basically)

    i run 3 250 watt metal halides =750 total

    and 2 110watt VHOs= 220

total of 970 watts and i can grow anything i want :D

  • how many pounds of live rock do tou have in your tank because i might copy your setup.

  • @zsb5 It's usually about a pound per gallon. But I like about 2 per gallon.

  • looks more like a 75g tank to me; i just don't understand why people brag about the size of their tanks? just say it as it is. A 125g is much longer than this. it measures at least 6ft long. this tank looks like it measures 4ft long and 24in deep x 22 tall. but nice tank though

  • Why are all the fish in one corner?

  • is the imperator angle bothering your corals?

  • what corals do you have?

  • thanks i kinda wanted the blueface more what should i not have with it thanx

  • anyone answer this ? if you can or send it in my inbox im getting a 120 gallon saltwater tank and which angel has more personality or which do you prefer the majestic angel or blue face angel thanx

  • i will prefer the blue face angel ...

  • i like the emperor angel better like the one u hav in the vid i have one but it's a jovinal

  • i got a juvi too can't wait untill it starts transforming

  • @zsb5 a 120 is too small for both.

  • @RaffleReefer10 i got a 220 instead with a French angel and a Passer angel, as of a week ago both my angels got cloudeye/ popeye in their right eye. if had them for 2 years. any thoughts?

  • @zsb5 good. A cloudy eye/popeye? What are you feeding them? What tankmated do they have? Are they eating?

  • wot fish do u have?

  • 5 years now but i just havent put more rock or anything thanks.

  • How long has the tank been setup? Appears to be only a few months. You have lots of room to place frags all over the rock. In a year it will look great!

  • what corals do you have

  • thanks i would say 1500 at least.

  • Its a great tank. Love the fishes too. I have a question, how much did this set up cost you? except the tank, fish, sand and live rocks.

    Thank You.

  • 120 gal i will check the measurements thanks

  • what are your tank measurements??

  • he is now about 10 inches.

  • how big is your angelfish

  • Add some damsels or a blue tang

  • u shud add some more like clown fishes or something

  • just WOW!!!

  • Hey i have a 110g tank and i plan on putting (2) 2-3inch lion fish in it, now i know they are poisinous but only bother fish that are smaller then they are...any ideas on onther fish i should sock it with?...any1 can reply back to me if theyd like

  • NO but i would like to very much thanks.

  • i wanted to wrap up and say beautiful chioce i will have to try it myself, i have a bicolor angelfish and coperband butteryfly fish but their smaller in size but still ill still try it

  • its a giant risk having an emperor angel in your tank but u r really smart for doing trial and error thats the only way to know if it will work or not. don't let the fish shop owner or workers tell you it will not work 100% unless that particular emperor is one in a billion that will never hurt anything.

  • great coralline, what do u do to maintain it?

  • honestly not much i just keep the regular maint, water changes and all that and feed them some kent concentrated plankton.

  • im setting up a saltwater tank and I was wondering if I can use the same filter I used for my fresh water tank (the fresh water tank is down) or do I need a special salt water filter.

    what is a Skimmer???

and how big do tangs get?

    By the way nice tank!

  • well if you want a big tank your going to need a sump for your filter. Tangs can get like 8-10 inches

  • 125 gallon tank huh? how much LR did you buy and were did you get from? also how did you cure it? send me message in my box :) thanks

  • Nice tank!!!! What do you ffed your emporor angel? It might work with mine.

  • well i had alot of problems when i got the fish 3 and and half years ago but i tried everything and finally got him eating shrimp and now he will eat everything just try and see now im giving spectrum and he loves it dont worry he will it, took me like one week or something like that before he started eating i was freaking out and now i cant stop him gooooo luck.

  • great tank - how do you keep your live rock so clean? mine gets dirty every other week after its clean.

  • If You clen it every other day ur rock is nice. All u have to do is wave ur hand in front of ur rock and corals and all of the junk comes off. And change ur filter cartrage(spell ?) every week. And clen ur whole filter out every month. Thats what I do and my tank is perfect. I dont have a veideo camara but I'm getting one in May and I can show u a vid. I have a 46 bow reef tank. If u have any ?'s just ask me. -Austin

  • what a good looking Emperor!

  • nice emperor, you might want to keep a close eye on him in later years because he will probably eat your remaining corals, unless you feed him at least 4 times a day

  • Nice emperor I want one badly.

  • the angel doesnt bother the corals?

  • He hasn't bothered the corals shown, we did however used to have a polyp and a brain. He ate the polyp and we traded the brain for the mushroom. He is really like a puppy dog and hides unless he sees us in the room.
