@zamowner1 israel didn't attack palestine in 1948 or before (because israel didnt exist before). Israel declared its independence and accepted UN181, which also called for a palestinian state. That's all it did. Palestinans and other arabs rejected it and started a war. This is a factual statement.
Israel attacked Egypt in 1967 because Egypt blockaded Israeli ports - an act of war. In 1973 Israel won the war - it recaptured Sinai and drove arab armies out.
