im new to AMA, i just started watching this season, do they still race 2 stroke? because doesnt james have a yz 250 that has races in the 250 class? just a question, and there all 2 strokes for the 250 class right, not like some 2 and others 4?

@mattchappy all 4.... 250 lites and 450 is all 4 strokes. Basically 2 strokes are banned from racing AMA. Damn shame too cause anyone who has ever ridden a 2 stroke the way it is ment to be ridden will know 2stroke>4stroke

@TenSecondDrop Your stupid, the bikes can't be bored and raced in the 450A class. It's considered a "Stock" class meaning you can't change the bore or stroke of the motor

@WhiteWater505 there bikes are bored out to 500s and there tiers are different and there pips are made personally for them and there bikes are about 5 to 6 pounds lighter then the factory made bikes there bikes are also tuned to them like shock tightness and acceleration on the turn of the gas
