  • Ah ok, I see. Thanks for the help!!

  • @TheWizzard29 Last time I checked it was 5000$ for the cheapest model..

  • Phantastic sound and perfect playing. It´s a shame that you´re not doing it anymore! A comeback would be great!

  • great guitar sound. very true to original.

is it out of phase LP?

  • Hi there,

many thanks for you comment. The guitar you hear is the Suhr Serial No. 1221 (pictured in the slide show) through a Soldano SLO-100 and EVM-12L speakers with a Vox Wah set fixed as filter.

  • @super8swiss Mark still uses Soldanos on many Dire Straits classics and his solo work. He and Eric Clapton first purchased the SLO-100 in 1987.

Eric stopped using the SLO-100s in favor of the '57 tweed Twin in 1994/95.

The SLO-100 is perhaps the most successful tube/valve guitar amp Michael Soldano ever built. It's chiefly responsible for Clapton's late 1980's/early 1990s records (Journeyman/24 Nights) and the Dire Straits stuff from that period.

  • Wunderbar.

    Reunion 2008 ? !

    GREAT
