I wonder if the carry ballast on board for weight distribution. Most big jets pump fuel between different tanks to keep the CG centered. That's a lot of weight shifting very quickly.

the reasons why they went with the 747 is it has the lowest stall speed than any aircraft in its class highest payload and more efficient than the dc10

really? that is absolutely amazing. i am dead scared of flying in planes. but that is amazing that thing does not full out of the sky at such a low speed. The other video said it drops its cargo at 140knots. Good engineering and physics
