I think annotations are fine for little things, but you shouldn't use them to give out the majority of your information. You're supposed to be using the video to explain that ocarinas are real. Like, I think that you SHOULD be able to use annotations, but at the same time your video should still be informative if you were to turn the annotations off.

@nickkie451 Yes, but keep in mind that a lot of people keep annotations off and the information you put in annotations may not be displayed :) Because of that, make sure that every thing you want to say is actually in your video.

@25quijanus For the random prize, I'm not going to be so strict on the rules. For the bigger prizes, I think some people may think it is unfair.

I tell you what, I'm going to make a post asking if I should let people put the prizes they want in the video description or with annotations. If you can get a majority of the entrants to reply and say that they think that would be ok, then I'll change the rules. I think that's fair since it is a majority vote.

The only winner I choose will be the favorite video prize. Whoever has the most likes on Youtube at the end of the contest will be the "most likes" winner, and the random prize winner will most likely be drawn from a hat in the announcement video.

If my favorite video also has the most likes, the winner must choose between the 3DS prize and the Zelda set. If the winner picks the 3DS, the Zelda set goes to the vid with the second most likes, and if the winner picks the set, the 3DS goes to my second favorite vid.

1. You can show any ocarina, so if you're talking about ocarinas and want to hold up an ocarina as an example of what an ocarina looks like, no problem :)

2. You'll want to contact people individually for permission to use their images or videos.
