Ich bin Linkshänder und denke das ich mit der Steyr meine linke gesichtshälfte (hülsenauswurf) ziemlich malträtieren würde autsch,,da ist unsere Schweizer SIG 550/552 etwas besser konzipiert.. Oder gibt es auch ein Modell für linkshänder???

@klingonio1 sie hat im prinzip auf beiden seiten einen auswurf der nur mit ner plastikabdeckung geschlossen wird.... also kann man auch als linkshänder beruhigt schießen^^

@klingonio1 Linkshänder-Model nicht nötig. Verschlusskopf austauschen, richtige Auswurföffnung abdecken, fertig. Kenne das SIG 550 nicht. Habe es aber schon öfter als Sportwaffe an Schießständen gesehen, das AUG eigentlich nie.  Ob das mit der jeweiligen Schußgenauigkeit zu tun hat? Schlecht konzipiert dürfte aber wohl keine der Waffen sein. :-)

"Steyr Stg. 77" is the internal identification of the Austrian Army. In fact it's called "Steyr AUG A1".

No it is not. I served in the Austrian army years ago. The Stg.77 is, as I said, the former internal term for the AUG A1. They are not separate. It's the same weapon.

Well that's because the term "Stg.77" actually was a collective name for the AUG A1, AUG A2, AUG A3 and the AUG 9mm. The AUG A1 is the version with the long barrel.

And I'm not really an expert. ;-) I just served with this weapon (among other weapons). When somebody spoke about the Stg.77, he was asked: "which one?"

"Sturmgewehr 77" ist die interne Sammelbezeichnung des Bundesheeres für ALLE STEYR AUG Gewehre. Und das hier IST das Steyr AUG A1, in einer Ausführung, die es so (offiziell) nicht gibt. (Selbstmontage) Spar dir deine Weisheiten für deine Vorgesetzten, die werden sich darüber sicher freuen.

"Steyr AUG" ist kein spezifisches Gewehr. Es gibt 22 Varianten und in Australien wird die F88 Austeyr lizenziert produziert und ist sogar sehr beliebt.

Aber das ist belanglos. Du sagtest sie würde nach hinten kippen... und das tut sie nicht, also erzähle mir nicht du wärst beim Heer, zumal du PiAD falsch buchstabierst.

Die AUG find ich deswegen anderen Sturmgewehren unterlegen da der Schwerpunkt weit hinten sitzt und diese Eigenschaft beim genauen Schießen hinderlich ist.

Du willst es nicht verstehen, gelle?^^ Natürlich liegt der Schwerpunkt bei Bullpup-Gewehren hinten - und genau deshalb sitzt bei der AUG A1 und A2 das Zielfernrohl so weit oben... damit man bei richtiger Bedienung zielen kann. Kein Bullpup-Gewehr kippt nicht nach hinten, wenn man es richtig bedient. Jemand der sagt, so eine Waffe wäre "schlecht", kann ganz einfach nicht damit umgehen. Und du willst Unteroffiziersanwärter sein. Erzähl doch nichts...

Wenn du mit der Frage darauf hinaus willst, dass man mit Gewehren herkömlicher Bauweise bessere Trefferquoten erziehlt, dann muss ich dich enttäuschen. Ja, wir haben zu Übungszwecken auch mit anderen Gewehren geschossen und die Bauweise von Verschluss und Magazin hat nichts mit der Zielgenauigkeit zu tun. Viel mehr hängt es vom Affen, der es bedient ab.

@viperfanacr Yes but i wouldn't do it. it is supposed to be as reliable as an AK 47 but alot more accurate. The rifle was designed for close quarters urban combat. It is still possible to shoot at about 500 meters and to be used as a submachine gun. The Ak 47 can barely shoot 100 meters with accuracy. I have shot about 1000 rounds on mine and rifle has never jammed. The only issue i have with it is that it is picky on magazines. PMAG work best.
