Gears pretty much stole the perspective view and cover system from a Playstation2 exclusive: Killswitch, which was sadly a better game and far more challenging. I say sadly, because Killswitch was made years earlier, and the artwork is even better. But then, that's what happens when you copy something; it's not quite as good as the original.

There are many things you can also do in cover in which you most likely can't in Killswitch. The fact that this is the only critisism that you can conjour, says lot to me.
