2012 was never meant to be looked at as the end of the world. The Mayans predicted a GREAT change which the likes of which have never been witnessed before. It COULD mean that the world would end but more than likely a GREAT change will happen that doesn't involve that. It could be a an extreme discovery in science or something similar.

Funny that we have the same view from two opposite positions. From a non-religiouswise perspective, there is absolutely no scientific evidence that 2012 is going to happen. According to the conspiracy theorists rambling about 2012, a large mass will interfere with the gravity of the Earth. At this point, you can't forsee anything like this happening that far head of time.
