If you're attacked and you have nowhere to go that means you have done something stupid prior to that, like running toward a group of armed pasdars.

What if you don't have arms? learn to build arms. You can build an ancient stone-thrower with a piece of rope and leather or cloth, also can make coctail with Benzin and sugar, etc, all available.

A true leader or a fighting general would first measure the power of it's enemy, then finds out about his enemies weak points, then he plans and attacks the enemy at it's weak points with sufficient man-power. If I was fighting this regime I would organize about 20 men, then place them inside a police station then order attack and disarmed the police then scaped, used the weapons to attack another station and another until we had a nice supply of weapons and ammo. Decide whether you want to run from a situation, nothing wrong with regrouping, or stand your ground and fight. Argentines lost the Falken Island war to the British because they did not finish them off and waited til additional British forced arrived. I'll tell you what you don't do. You don't stare like sheep or run away. If they are going to use weapons on you, then you grab the gun from the basiji and break his hand. And guess what now you have the gun. If another dares to point his gun at you, YOU point your gun at him in self defense for your life and your rights. YOU DON'T RUN LIKE COWARDS OR WATCH LIKE SHEEP. You better defend yourselves. There is no other way. You have to stand up and stand strong. You outnumber the basiji.

I think you miscalculate something!

The other guy won't stand & watch till we grab his hand & get the pistol out of his hand, also you assume his 20 friends won't jump & grab you or shoot you dead right there.

Using martial arts looks good in movies or on a still-standing friend but in real life when one has a split second to kill or get killed no one would attempt hero stuff.

Yes our number is more but they're armed with deadly weapons & they move in groups,plus we're humans they're animals.

There could be many "If's", however, if these techniques saving even one person at a situation, it is well worth practicing it and learning it. To do something to defend yourself & even getting killed while defending yourself & loved ones is much better than going to a slaughterhouse and getting raped & tortured and then getting murdered like a defenseless sheep. There's a right way to fight and there is a Basiji/dumb way to fight.

During Iran-Iraq war khomeini sent Basijis to walk over mine-fields and clear them getting killed. An intelligent man would have purchased 1000 metal-detectors at $50 each and saved hundreds of lives. In today's case you can't fight guns with tae-Kwan-do, you fight guns with guns or home-made bombs or by disarming a pasdar then using his weapon on other criminals as people did during the 1979 Anghollab.
