Hard to watch, i was there the day of his crash, my dad took me there when i was a kid, i was perfectly in front of where he crashed, since i was 7 i now wear helmets even if its doing something as simple as a 180 off a curb.
i remember he was an idle of mine when i used to ride years back im 20 now and istill remember him pulling the first double in dirt competition back in 2001 at the xgames.

This man would give anything just to get back on a bmx bike. sometimes I think people should put themselves in the shoes of people less fortunate than themselves and imagine what life must be like for them. It makes me feel sick when people make fun or laugh at this tragedy. All i have to say is, put yourself in his shoes. then maybe they would realise how much stephen is going through, but he always looks at the bright side of everything in life and is a respected athlete
