Hey, i have a question. When u playback a 1200 fps recording, does it actually look that thin on the camera?

Yes 1200fps is only 336 x 96 resolution so if you do record at 1200 fps you wana make sure it's real close. The 300 fps is at 512 x 384 which is pretty much perfect for youtube.

but i mean when u watch it on the camera, not on youtube, is the screen also smaller?

Of course. the resolution is 336*96!!!!!! They do it for quality sake. If it didn't shrink it it would look like a mush of colors.
