Saudis, Syrians and Gulf States did not want us to do that because it would have put Shiites in charge in the Southeast so the US was told to backed off and watch Saddam crushed the Rebellions.

The only way to save them was the no-fly-zones to protect them from Iraqi aircraft.

If US went in then, well Iraqis would be in charge of Iraq/oil leaving US with no 'enemy' for the funding for another war...but wait later to invade and have what is now...sustained war/profits for the controllers. We have gotten way off topic. My initial argument was one against the idiots in the documentary who were saying its Americas fault. I just cited that in both cases (92 and today) America took 2 opposing actions, and in both cases America was blamed for doing the wrong thing. The only way Iraq can get on its feet, is if the people stand up for themselves. Instead, they bitch as they watch our soldiers die for them. Oh, and they play soccer.
