My mother took me when I was age 13&14 to see them play at the ohio jazz festevals. About '64. We hurried back to their hotel after they played and got to meet them all except Ugene. shame he was proably not welcome in a white hotel.-a disgrace! Desmond told me jazz needed more good drummers. Morello told me Ihe would have given me a drum lesson if i'd been their before the concert. What a thrill for a lifetime. Later that night we saw Desmond out on the street. He was, 'the breath of cool'

Did you edit a blend at o.58 fom sax to piano because it sounded like that to me?? just wonderling? thnx I have always loved Brubeck/ The old quartet were my musical heros all when i was growing up
