  • Koo clippers

  • whis trimmer/liner cuts the closet? I dont want to but the most expensive like the m3. And im considering buying styliner or outliner or detailer.

  • Can someone help me out? Is the phat master essentially an improved master with a different cutting head? I like the added grip it has because my hands become sweaty using the reg. improved masters. I was wondering if it would make sense to get the phat masters and just simply add on a regular improved master head to do regular short cuts with. thanks in advanced to anyone who answers....

  • @MoneyOnMyMind18 The Phat Master starts where the Master finishes. I use to think that it was just a novelty until I got one. Now I use it all the time. The Phat Master's lowest adjusment is 1A, the next notch up from the Master's #1. It can be adjust up to the #2. No need for changing guards, just move the lever. A must have!

  • @alsmillions Thanks al!

  • @MoneyOnMyMind18

that interesting i never thought of doing that let me kno if you find out

  • I have the wahl detailers also, the cut great at 1st. Now, seem to barely cut a hair. whats the true purpose for the detailer? Lines or trimming? I also have the Wahl Hero... Whats the difference between The wahl Hero and The wahl detailer?

  • @deeman7030 You need to use the auto adjuster and readjust them.

  • I aspire to have such an arsenal as you, Al. Most importantly, I aspire to have the NEED to have that type of clipper game. Quick question if you don't mind, how is the Oster star teq compared to other detach clippers (76, bgr) ?

  • andis should make a cordless master, that would be great!

  • Hey Al, Have you Ever OWned An Oster Turbo 111? Since i cant find anything about it on youtube.

  • Hey Al love the vids and appreciate the work. I'm in the UK and the Andis Improved Master is too expensive as I'd need to import it. Plus its hard to get the guards I'd want for it. What would you recommend as your next best "go to" clipper? I don't care what brand as long as its powerful, reliable and precise.

  • @Thurrabred i would try the wahl serling it looks the same cuts almost the same and its like 30 dollars cheaper

  • @Thurrabred i would try the wahl sterling it looks the same cuts almost the same and its like 30 dollars cheaper

  • Where can you buy the wahl detailer ?

  • @N12productionz Amazon.com

    its cheaper

  • igot the wahl detailer, and it leaves red marks, anyone knows why that happens?

  • @barrios527 It's not adjusted right. Use the auto adjuster included.

  • @barrios527 yo mine does the same shit . !

  • Hey al my is joe um I seen your video and I have a question I was wondering where you got your red andis styliner 2 from cuz I was gonna get me pair but I like the red tone you have?

  • hey al good look,,, i always enjoy your vids, can you get the wahl G whiz at a sallys?

  • @junior310chaka No. You can get it at Atlanta Barber Supply

  • 30-40 customers a day, how do u get yourself so many customers, i can cut hair but i'm trying to figure out how to get more people to come by to get my cuts

  • @remspercy AL is well known.Even cut celebs heads so thats why he gets so many clients.

  • Wow great vid bro! I myself am going to barber school and hope to basically be GREAT at it :) Nice seeing a barber proud of his skill.

  • BOSS WHERE DID U FIND THAT WAHL SHAVER AND HOW MUCH THANX ALOT WHAT BLACK ICE N BEJING

  • BOSS MAN WERE DID U GET THAT WAHL SHAVER AND HOW MUCH THANX HOMIE

  • I CUT KIDS!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great video. I was wondering if you can help me out. I was thinking of purchasing a wahl detailer for trimming my beard. can you tell me if its as good and as close as the anids outliner. since you have both machines and you seem to know your stuff. I am from the UK and the Andis outliner is hard to get hold of here. i would really appreciate your expert advise.

    many thanks

  • I'm just beginning to cut hair. Learning on my own. I use it only on those in my family. I would actually like to begin with a really good set(trimmers/clippers/shavers) Which set of machines would you recommend? Really Appreciate it. Thanks for all of your post. You've become an inspiration for me to learn how to cut hair due to your professionalism. Will join your website as well. Stay up! Thanks again!

  • Tell you what man, you should go to Amazon and check out the Oster Art-Teq Super Trimmer! It takes the same Andis or Promate blade as the Andis Outliners or T-Outliners without the heat issue and has all of the power! I have them and they are the answer to the heat problem!

  • i got that wahl detailer too, :)

  • damn dawg!

  • do the andis styliner II cut sharp right out the box? because my andis t outliner aint cutting sharp at all and i adjusted them

  • i just have the andis t-outliner same one you picked up at 2:28...also have the andis master

  • what would u perfer out of all ur trimmers i no u use all for different reasons.. but still like the best 1... and is the t edjer the cordless 1 hella good?

  • Just subscribed... nice series of vids. If you have a moment, which would you recommend to get clean curved lines on a beard? I have n Andis LS Headliner, but the length of the blade is too long and I end up squaring the corners. I'm trying to choose between a Styliner II or a M3. Any thoughts? Thanks

  • @speculous The M3 has more power. I like it better.

  • @alsmillions that promate blade sucks! I just bought one a couple of days ago after I watch you and several other barbers videos. Compared to how it's been hyped it's trash. The only good thing is that it doesn't get hot. It doesn't even compare at all to the Andis blade. At best it's an average blade. Nothing special in my opinion. But the M3's are great!

  • @jellis21081 It's trash to you because you don't have it adjusted right.

  • @alsmillions Maybe it's just me but I even have that Anivo blade adjuster. I used it to make sure that the blade was set correctly and still wasn't satisfied. They just don't give as crisp of a line up as I thought they would. If you're just trying to remove hair they're fine but it doesn't give that crispy line up that people want. I even tried them on myself just to make sure. The teeth are too long! Just my opinion!

  • @jellis21081 OK, that's your experience, but I've been using them for over 2 years on video, People see how easy and how clean they leave my line ups. Some guys adjust their tension screw and throw their liners off. Maybe you got a bad set of blades. Send them back.

  • @alsmillions i'll take your word for it and try adjusting the tension screw. If you say that you've been using it over two years I beleive it. I've seen your videos and you have the work to back up what your saying. Thanks for the advice!

  • @jellis21081 All else fails, send to me. I'll get it right for you.

  • @alsmillions i spoke too soon! i guess I had to break them in. They are working great now. I must say they do work as advertised. It's an effortless process using these. I still don't think it lines up mustaches as well as the Andis but everything else about this blade is great. Thanks for the advise man.

  • where do you find the maroon style-liner II at

  • Do the Wahl Detailer get hot like the Andis T-Ouliners do?

  • im very envious

  • you don't use andis excels?

  • yo wat up wats better the wahl outliner or the andis t out line wich one cuts better

  • were did u get ddat promate 4 dat m3

  • Wow i dont see any whal seniors....try them out you will love them.

  • @megarepsol What's makes you think I haven't? I prefer using the Andis Master.

  • @alsmillions well the reason i said that because i see the cheaper whal's and not the senior's. to each is own i guess. I keep it simple.. 2 andis t-outliners one for kids. Whal seniors, and my 76's. i do have the andis master but i find it tooo heavy and lacking power. It does get close so i use it just to blend the skin line. but i wouldnt recomend it for anything else. For speed whal seniors do the job. =) keep up the good work. Check out my video.

  • @megarepsol Let me see you do a skin a head without snagging it using a Seniors. It's not going to happen.

  • @alsmillions u need to fix those then....i never snag. If your clippers are snagging it is because they need fixing or adjusting. Im 33 Ive been cutting hair for 18 years and luv my seniors. Let me see you cut thick hair with master's...lol . ull be there an extra 5 minutes while ill be done with my cut and on to the next one. I guess everyone has their preferences. I just hate Master's and connot take an extra 5 minutes going over the same spots over and over..

  • THIS WAS A GREAT INSPIRATION

  • im tryin to become a barber can yu tell me what classes you took or what courses or whatver cuz im tryin to go to barber school

  • Hey al do you think if I put an improved master blade on the phat master will it cut the same as the improved cuz they are the same clipper just that the phat has a different color

  • wheres ur shop at?

  • Hey al would you recommend the andis phat master

  • @armoglz It's ok, I just never really found a need for them.

  • man im tryin..theyre a real older group like 60yrs old and the got somethin to say about anything new..sprits,black spray, blow drying..but the guard talk was crazy i didnt kno wat to tell them to make them understand that iv seen professionals use guards but its like they sayin stuff everyday n i wanna jus b like F it but i want my L's ya kno?

  • i jus became an apprentice at a barbershop n i brought my own tools n guards were with me and the place i work at only use a detachable clipper and an adjustable clipper..they say guards r unprofessional n for home barbers but i dont have a problem with them whats your views on that n how shud i approach it?

  • @jducka100 That's crap! I use both. You need to know how to use both, but detachable blades are expensive. There's nothing wrong with using guards until things get better. I still use guards for detailed work and well blended fades. I bet there are some ugly fades going out of that shop. Do you brah, until you can do better.

    Later

  • @jducka100

how did you become apprentice because i want to be apprentice too.today i went to a barber shop and ask could you show me how to cut.but i heard they won't let you cut because you need a barber license.barber school don't teach you anything that why i want to be apprentice first and than go to barber school

  • @jducka100 Whal seniors r a must. chexk out my Hair design video. I use whal seniors and andis t-outliner. I also use my Oster 76's wich r a beast. You wont need anything else. Good luck with your career.

  • got a question

...where can i find the PRO MATE for andis styliner m3? all i find is the pro mate blade for the styliner II, or do you use the same pro mate blade m3 and styliner II

  • It will fit the Styliner ll and the M3

  • alright Thanks!!

  • another real good video...which trimmer would you recommend for the closest shave, the andis outliner or the wahl detailer?

  • It depends on the adjustment of the trimmer.

  • @alsmillions alright thanks...I really appreciate all of these videos btw

  • Thanx!

  • im lovin the title....man it aint no game! lol

  • A REAL BARBER can NEVER have TOO many clippers & trimmers...thanks Al I've been wondering about those Gee Whiz by Whals;)
