  • The Zoom-Faktor of your camera is scary :/

  • It was scary when they kept zooming in and out and people actually jumped from those heights

  • I'm always wondering, that they don't use the Space in the corners, at least for bigger windows, or even better for 4 super columns for terrorism safety!? The building would look totally the same and i would still be standing! As i was in this building, i though there were actually super colunms in these corner's!

  • I wuz born 11/9

  • hey i was born in 1996 ;p

  • I still can't believe a gang of assholes brought these two large buildings down!

  • If time travel ever exists in the future, these buildings would be worth saving from destruction!

  • @Pugslee3

I would rather save the people who died @ World war 1/2.. But okey..............

  • imagine you falling from this high... Scary... But the real thing is that someone srsly falled O_O

  • Its still hard for me to accept the post 9/11 NYC, its just not the same!

  • This makes me feel sad that a part of national history and culture is gone forever!

  • I always wish I were living in the time before the shit happened all the time, sob, sob!

  • All I have to say is terrorists are the true definition of asshole!

  • my dad worked in the north tower thank god he was on some of the lower floors!

  • I was up there in 2000 !

  • I was there!!!

  • imagine how it woulda be if u jumpd from that building...

  • Where was Chuck Norris. But let's be serious... Couldn't they use helicopters to save more people?

  • @Axel1797 The smoke was too bad on the roof, so they couldn't land...

  • Imagine being up in the observation tower when the plane hit...

  • @clarkloveselevators Nobody was up int the observation tower. It didn't open until later in the day.

  • @DannyPhantomFan2 OH GOOD!!!

  • I want a time machine...

  • @zcarrell I do too.

  • one special thing about WTC was everyday u could meet everyone from around the world

  • Sigh, I wish I could see NY from this view. :( RIP 9/11 victims.

  • Jet fuel happens to burn at high temperatures which caused the external steel support beams to buckle. That allowed the floors to collapse. I wish that they would rebuild the towers taller. They really gave the city a dramatic skyline.

  • @dhizzy13 yea really now. The twin towers want thier family member back (yes there are more than one twin towers)

  • I am sorry that you did not get to see Windows on the World on a clearer day

  • important document!!!

    good

    up

    emanuele carioti

    italy

  • this is how NYC should be like.

  • What's amazing is that all the other buildings are called "skyscrapers".

  • Did anyone else notice the top of the former Duetche Bank Building at the 3:50 mark? Weeks after 9/11/01, they found mold, mildew, and body parts on the roof of the tower, and it eventually had to be torn down.

  • sounds like batlecruiser 3000

  • sounds like batlecruiser 3000

  • Very nice view! It's so sad they're gone now. :(

Rest In Peace for all the poor people and for the collapsed twin towers

  • Comment removed

  • @MeierMaxi30001 es gibt eben Trottel (i.d.F.

  • Comment removed

  • @GayFoxxx zufällig?

  • @dnomz but by not rebuilding, they win. and I say by rebuilding, it's a huge "fuck you" to the people that commited this unspeakable act.

  • New York is grey. But wonderful. And the NY People know ,that they miss the WTC's,then the Skyline dont were so wonderful, like before the Collapsing Towers. (Sorry ,my English is really really bad.) My friend said, i should translate it to english, because,he hasnt got an YT Account.

  • Philippe Petit Aug 7 1974. LOL

  • still unbelievable those great towers are gone....

  • good bye World Trade Center du wast das beste

  • @rachekinder Richtig! Sie sollten meinem channel besuchen.

  • I say by building the new towers, it is like a big middle finger to those who wanted to see our demise that day. I still cry everytime I think about what happened that day.

  • @bobthefreak09 I totally understand it. I was 17 when the attacks happened and I'm still really, really sad when I think about it. Its so hard to think about all those people who jumped or got killed when the towers collapsed... :(

  • @bobthefreak09 or maybe you are provoking them to do the same all over again? I wouldn't build new, big towers there. And I sure as hell wouldn't live or work there. Not sure what plans they have with these new towers but its stupid in my opinion.

  • @dnomz this could happen anywhere, and these people don't need a reason.

  • RIP Victims

  • Wow, these really were magnificent buildings..I miss them dearly.

  • great to see the old towers, i never got to go up them but remember seeing them from newark airport. looking forward to the new freedom tower.

  • @hermitageboy Hell yeah, someone who isn't butthurt over the new design...

  • you know just because bin laden is dead doesnt mean these people are gonna magicly come back to life and the reason we killed him was to avenge the dead ppl and look hes dead now what

  • so glad osama is dead (supposedly) i cant imagine the horror of having been in there..

  • why not just make 2 freedom towers but only 1 with attena?

  • who 1 person will dislike this

  • @Superhero6734ify i still pains me that there are gone

  • June 17 is my birthday and i love the WTC. LOve the inside and cant wait for one world trade center.

  • at 4:59 if I'm not mistaken, there are some shots of St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church - which collapsed underneath the weight of the Towers, and the Port Authority won't allow the Greek Orthodox church to rebuild in its "footprint" now. It had been an immigrant-built church, and they say, it served many people who worked in the WTC area.

  • The wires on the roof, it was always interference

    cameras. Electric current.

  • gosh...i wish i can go back in time and change history.i remember visiting as a kid and didnt think much of them.but now as an adult i miss them.i remember being on the very top of the tower observation deck and looking down thinking omg if anybody was to jump its over 4 them.then decades later 911 happened.i had nitemares after 911 being trapped up there.god bless those who perrish or had the strength to jump i think i would not had jumped but u neva no untill your in that position yourself...

  • I rember as a little girl i went 2 the top of the world trade center and thought i was bird , RIP to all the victims who died that day u all will be in my payers ;(

  • The Twin Towers were something special to New York and the United States of America. If we don't rebuild the Twin Towers, the terrorists have won the battle. Right now if you guys want the Twin Towers to be rebuilt, go online and sign the petition at the Twin Towers Alliance.come. The Twin Towers Alliance is still going strong. It is not too late.

  • @azar78345able So where would they be built at? They are not going to blow up the new Towers one, two, three, four, five, and seven to make room for them. They are not going to destroy the memorial to place them in the old spots. As of today there is no open place big enough to rebuild them at in that area. If they do return someday, it will not be at the WTC site and maybe not even NYC.

  • @Goodwrangler3 Well you know what if that is the case then I won't be visiting New York City anymore. There is nothing special about the new buildings that are being built right now. All I can say is congratulations to Osama Bin Laden and the 19 hijakcers that flew the airplanes. The Freedom Tower is now a trophy for them. CONGRATULATIONS OSAMA AND MOHAMMAD ATTA FOR BLOWING UP THE TWIN TOWERS.

  • I like the way you film, you notice details like the amazing green terrace on top, the graf of french Philippe petit who cross and join the towers on a rope...

So do we know one day what is really happened in the towers on sept 11 ...

  • Were you only allowed on top of the south tower?

  • @mpc1209 sry - I don't really remember, but I think so.

  • @muggel6 I know that I was only ever in the North tower and I am pretty sure that the restaurant was at floor 107 in the North tower. Then again, I was only 5 or 4 when I was there in August of 2001

  • @muggel6 i think i know why. Because in the North Tower there was broadcasting equipment, and probaly only employees were allowed up there.

  • The South Tower had the observation deck. The North Tower had the Windows on the World restaurant. I found that out when I took an elevator one morning to WOW and asked where the observation deck is. The host said "Walk over to that elevator and push the down button. When it opens, push "G" for ground. Get off and leave the building. Go to the building nearby that looks just like this one--it's hard to miss. Get on the elevator there and push the top button." He probably said that 20x a day.

  • @mpc1209 because they dont want people fucking with the radars and antenas

  • @benry200 Ah, lol, makes sense :P

  • @mpc1209 the north tower was only allowed office workers and the south tower was the one that had the observation deck

  • @mpc1209 yeah, the north one had the antenna and the south tower had the viewing platform on the roof.

  • @mpc1209 you were allowed on both

  • @mpc1209 bit of a late reply but yeah there was only viewing area on the south because ov all the antennas and shit on the north tower

also the main spire wass 300 ft and if sum1 blew that up .... need i say more

  • Wow.... I really miss these towers.... There was so much there that I'll never see again...

  • wow, the cameras in the 90s were good

  • WOOOOOOOOW! bellssime! <3

  • Miss Them...

  • Within the first ten seconds of this video, there was some creepy ghost yelling.

  • 02:26 that is soooo cool :)

  • these where great buildings they have to rebuild it.

  • From the top of a skyscraper, people look like ants. From the top of the WTC other skyscrapers look like anthills.

  • 3:10 Philippine Flag :D

  • how could someone destroy such an beautifull building?

  • the wtcenters were awsome

  • this is amazing

  • look at that. looks like the world trade center was a nice place to chill out, maybe catch a drink and a bite to eat. this place looks great except when 9/11 came around.

  • @chillinur36 The restaurant there was probably really expensive, though.

  • thanks for the video vary nice

  • oh! what a dumb comment they didnt really have a choice it was either jump or be burned alive who knows what they would do unless in that situation

  • oh shut up

  • i'm Irish and if they re-built the twin towers i would go to New York just for them

  • 0:03 amazing sight- and thats just the lobby!

  • this video was shot two months before i even started the first grade. that's a long time ago!!!!!!!

  • I take it NYC residents or habitants don't grow up to fear heights. The entire city is on the sky!

  • i went to New York in June of 96... My memory of it is such a blur cause I was only 5 years old. But I remember entering Manhattan from the Lincoln Tunnel... and it was amazing that I could see the twin towers all the way from the New Jersey Turnpike. I always wanted to go inside those towers. I revisited NYC in 1999, I asked my father the exact words "Those towers are so high, what if a plane hits them?", my dad says, "that's a dumb question, those towers are built to handle stuff like that".

  • my bday is 11.09 And those people who jumped are very brave, i couldn't jump because i fear heights.

  • @hannes0000 With all due respect to the ones that lost their lives in the attacks, I believe the human body and mind responds differently under great stress. Given the options, falling from a high altitude to a quick death vs. burning alive, many chose the former. RIP.

  • I was born December 1992 and I always thought the WTC's were quite amazing buildings. I found out about them around 1999 or so.

  • this video is about 13 years old

  • @pochuko yeah cause im 13

  • Thank you for capturing some of what the twin towers had to offer. It hurts to know, and imagine people having to jump.

  • Wow this footage was taken a day after my 13th birthday. I was born 16 June 1983.

  • I was born 1995-08-29

  • I was born in 11.11.1994 and I never remember the world trade center before. I was Yr 1 at 2001 and I heard a news about the world trade center collapsed. TERROIST! I'm 15 now and I never had a chance to go to the world trade center:( I miss two buildings:(

  • The Trade Centers are on a better place now...^^

  • i was born in 1-7-96 in a video missing 15 days!!

  • I was born January 15, 1994

  • yea

  • Thanks for posting this video!

Its great to see the buildings before they collapsed!

It feels like their is this entire story to the towers which everyone forgets!

  • 00:22 amazing!

  • Thankyou for posting this video. It's great to see the inside of the Towers. I didn't get to go in inside the WTC when we was in New York in 1999. What a site to see in person just from the outside. Too bad we didn't know to go out if to park the car outside of the city and take the path back to the trade center. R.I.P to all those who lost there lifes on 9/11

  • My God ... I went there for the first time on this exact day in 1996! Amazing.

  • Rebuild the TWIN towers!!!!! no freedom tower could ever replace the landmark and majesty of the TWIN towers!!

  • totally agree...

  • @cheaboiMWA That is true. But even with Osama Bin Laden dead, they still won't rebuild the Twin Towers. Al Qaeda has brainwashed the city of Manhattan & the Port Authority of NY & NJ aren't even doing a thing about it.

  • @cheaboiMWA there not :( there making a Japanese looking like shitty building

  • @cheaboiMWA Just accept it, they wont rebuild it again.

  • How cool, i am the 3000 viewer ;-D

Cool Video, here u can see some nice views instead of the burning building or so on, how u can watch it usually on youtube! I was wondering yet, because there are no positive rememberings on the wtc!

  • Very good video! ;D (2:26) :O

  • WTC were two beautiful buildings

    great sight of NYC

  • @PegasusRyuSiKen you're right. the most people say, that these buildings just were grey blocks, but they were beautiful ;)
