Yea I didnt think about that. Also the reed will react further away if you align it axially toward the mag rather than from the side. A lot of things I didnt anticipate. But thats good.

She is still running but not like yours. Its down to 1.337v and only about 15 hours. It speeds up now and again and the voltage starts to climb.

Yea, the reed thing is neat. it can also increase the speed if you get it in the right spot. Have you tried the drill bit yet?
