How do you seperate the tracks if you have a mix recored, what i want 2 do is put my mix on to cd but so i can switch the tracks like a dance mixed cd you'd buy from shops, when i made a mixed cd before the mix just comes up as "Track 01" so when listeneing i had 2 fast forward 2 skip track, i want 2 be able switch for track 01, track 02, track 03 and so on, if some1 out there knows how to do this using Goldwave please let me know...???

goldwave is not the program to do thus unless you break the mix down into individual tracks. Lets say you have 5 minutes of the mix, save it as individual mp3 and did that for the entire mix. then when burning it to cd put all the mp3s in order of what they came from (in mix).

Use GW to create a test-CD.

e.g. 5 minute-WAV-files containing test tones

1kHz, 100 Hz 20 Hz and mayb more.

save these as PCM Wave-file 44.1kHz sampling rate and burn on a CD.

This will be played back in any regular CD player. You can even generate some noise (white and pink).

saves U several bux so U dont have to buy a

test CD containing nuthin' else.

This enables U to use a CD-Player as a sine generator for measuring of electronic circuits

w/o buying expensive test-equipment.

first off you cannot master tracks in goldwave. 2nd, when you make tracks you dont EVER listen to them with headphones on. leave the headphones for when you are enjoying your mp3 player or listening to youtube. producers NEVER listen to their original music with headphones on. if they do, they experience the same exact issue you are experiencing. it will NEVER sound the same as it did while you were hearing it on the phones. so you are better off composing music without them.

uhhh I think so. I have never used it with goldwave.  I have always used that program with FL Studio or Adobe Audition. Autotune can also be used as a standalone program. If you dont know what standalone means, it means run as its own program without any other software needed.

I made a chipmunk version of a song with Audacity and I want to use it in Windows Movie Maker so I tried to use Goldwave to convert it.

But when I play back what I selected all I hear is buzzing and it only lasts a few seconds.

Can you not use Audacity files in Goldwave?

This isnt for recording vocals for a song. You CAN but when you record for a song you need to multitrack record. I recoomend Abobe Audition. Try searching youtube for Adobe Audition so you can check it out.

wow i have never heard something like that. are you sure you downloaded it from a secure webpage? the LAME MP3 is just a codec used by your computer to allow the PC to help reckognize the MP3 format, kinda like the way WINAMP or WINDOWNS MEDIA PLAYER does. Never heard anything about it messing up someones computer. Restore your computer to before you installed it. Start computer in safe mode, and restore it. If you dont know how to do that try yahoo answers.
