@Wes2823 The drums were programmed and the sounds are from toontrack's drums from hell. Now I mostly use superior drummer and hopefully soon, real drums :)

Awesome. I think you've sold me on the UX-1, seems to get the job done great and your recording came out great. Did you mic an amp for guitar tone or is this all from Tone Port?

Thanks man, this is all the toneport. I don't use these tones anymore though. Get the UX-1 or 2 or kb37, you can't go wrong. If you have the money for and axe fx then do that haha, but if not, this is the most bang for your buck

Wow. this songs tight. I think you might need to add some drum fills to even out transitions between riffs a bit like at 1:03, but other then that, this song is pretty friggen awesome man.

thanks man!. for this song i wrote out the drum parts using guitar pro and then imported the midi track into drums from hell. but dfh does come with tons of loops, just not ones that would work with the songs i make.

i just programmed them in guitar pro 5. then i import the midi track into drums form hell, eq it a bit and bobs ur uncle. drums from hell does have a bunch of already programmed drum loops, but they dont work for my kind of music.

Thanks! I've never used either of the other two, but I imagine it can't be too different. I got the ux1 because its easy to use, cheap, it's an external soundcard, and it sounds pretty good. However, I think your best bet would be to get the pod xt for overall sound.

Podxt is basically the same thing for recording purposes. Not worth the extra cash if you just want to record.
