Keep buying that Chinese import crap. You may get it cheap, but we will all pay for it in the end! Buy American!!!! Cleco Impact Wrenches are the best in the world!!!!
@gnarlyharley71 i agree with not buying chinese shit but our country cares less about the red white and blue thats why they send manufacturing jobs to china ....where done
@MrBurnTec I bought some here in the States from Home Depot and some from Harbor Freight and I don't think I paid over $30 for all of them. Try looking on Ebay and get them cheaper. I don't think I will ever pay that much for a set of fittings.

I only have an 8gallon so i run max of what that puts out but this gun should take you derango's lugs off the "should" be at 100-120 depending if the last guy put them on
@joeyakabert Since then, I've turned everything up to Max psi. I don't have a Durango anymore but the last person that put the lugs on my G8 GT had them way too tight. Took me a while to get the lugs off with my tank.
I just picked up this gun over the weekend to do the brakes and replace the wheel hubs on my 2005 Grand Prix GTP. It got the job done..but the power seemed inconsistent. Have you noticed that the torque adjuster just spins on your's? I have no idea what torque setting I'm on. I'm not sure if the gun is defective or if it's like this by design.
@deezomaxima Sorry about that. What it does, is that you can rotate the adjuster from 1 through 5. The problem is that it doesn't stop at 5. It keeps spinning all the way around to 1 again. I can feel the clicks as it's going through. However I have no idea of what torque setting it's truly one. Every other gun I've ever seen will stop when it will stop when it's reach it's limitation on adjustments..not just keep going.
@tjstreeter Ok. That is by design. What you will need to pay attention to is the left side is for when you're torquing things down and the ride side is for when you're loosening. 1 is minimal and 5 is maximum power. Unfortunately, you're going to have to adjust the torque setting when going from forward to reverse and vice versa.
i just bought the cheapest craftsman impact, i think 29.00 to mainly use for removing my torqued blades off my riding mower. says it will handle 250+ lbs..we'll see. I like going into Harbor and spend a couple of hours looking and sometimes buying stuff. My opinion is their stuff is just fine for the weekend warrior level, like me.
@chrospoke Thanks. This is a good impact wrench. Did some motor mounts on my friends motor mounts this past weekend and it blew right threw every fastener I threw at it.
the design of this gun is similar to an IR231 and the twin hammer makes a big difference. This gun should take off an axle nut but a small air compressor tank you may need to allow the air to build. I used my 231 on a 4 gal pancake compressor and it gets the job done. FYI: the Ingersol Rand 231 gun costs $125 and up (200 off the tool truck). I think if you buy the high end stuff from Harbor Freight its good quality, cheap tools are not always crap. Harbor Freight sockets are some of the best!
I also just noticed that I'm not running enough PSI while the gun is active so I'm going to boost my pressure up while the tool is running to get proper performance. I read some threads on the internet about this because when you activate the tool, the pressure drops below the rated PSI of the tool.
I'm curious to see how my performance is when working on the Durango afterward.
@deezomaxima The pressure can drop through the adjustable regulator and the hose. I took the safety valve out and added a T fitting to run direct tank pressure for a strong burst of air, it makes a difference. Your gun may use 20 CFM under load.... Turn up the regulator up all the way and see if your gun hits harder, watch the gauge to see what the actual psi is across the regulator.
@dollman0 I will give it a go the next time I get some free time. It does hit harder at the start now but gets weak after a couple seconds. I'm sure it will be fine once I boost my pressure up.
@dollman0 I turned my tank all the way up but it definitely give me tools the power they need to do what they're made to do. However, my pressure does drop to around 80 psi while running the 94803 but it keeps steady with the rpms and power.
Will it loosen a crank shaft pulley?

@hummarstra With a strong enough tank, it will.

@tjstreeter When you say, spin freely, is it spinning as if it's loose? It's supposed to have some drag to it.

If u use high flow fittings it will have way more power.

@djshannon1995 Which one's do you recommend? Or do I just find any high flow fitting for my application?
