wheres tyrone powers films he was no 2 at the boxoffice that year THE RAINS CAME 1939 JESSE JAMES 1939 .some like it hot was made in 1958 whats it doing here.
Oh, this song makes me wanna dance! 1939 really was such a great year. So many great movies! It's also the year when my two favourite actresses, Rita Hayworth and Greer Garson had their breakthrough!
Some great original posters here, well done! Was expecting to see "Goodbye Mr Chips", as Robert Donat won the Best Actor Award that year...from under the nose of Clark Gable!
I have just reviewed your video and I am very pleased with what I saw; I must note however that in 1939 there was a film released entitled "Some Like It Hot" but there was no relation to the 1959 version (which you included in this with the 1959 poster for that film; don't fret, we all make mistakes.)
I like the song choice too because you are saying that this video is taking us back to the Golden Age and I agree with that.
I can't rate this until I've gotten other entries.
Also, I would say that your teeter-tottering between a second and first place gategory but don't get to excited because there's still more to come; in fact, I'm envisioning a number of ties to come with this contest because the work that's been turned out is quite impressive.
