  • heey, How did you made the gripper, cause i'm interested in robotics :) thank you and very nice vid

  • nxtasy.org forums are no longer active. I cannot find info on this design!

  • Design plans? I need the design of the lifter ASAP!

  • @tingeypa

it is basicly grabbing all the way and since the motor spins through the arm, it will lift when the claw can't move inwards anymore.

    Am I right?

  • good!!!what is the marerial needed to built it?And how to built it???

  • NICE ONE

  • NXT has bluetooth so you can use a bluetooth game controller for this.

  • dude, xbox doesnt run bluetooth.. its a mod

  • controller to PC, PC to NXT. easy.

  • @LordDecapo your'e an idiot. 360 controllers work with WIRELESS. BLUETOOTH. TECHNOLOGY.

  • how did it work with xbox 360 controller

  • how did you get it to work with the xbox controller?

  • @srjoecool Bluetooth

  • Excellent design. Can provide me a picture or any detail for building the front motor that catches and raises. it is a brilliant design.

  • no..

  • Amazing. How does it "know" when to switch from gripping to lifting?

  • Watch the action carefully - once the claw is closed the gears that move it jam, so the motor is just turning the whole thing.

  • awesome..excellent job. can you give me the picture of the clamp assembly. i want to try.

  • sweet i have an nxt to!

  • i want study it A.I robotic :)

  • How did you program the 360 controller? Do you use microsoft studios?

  • I wrote a program called bricstick. It makes it easy to control robots like this. Sometime soon I'll make this available for others to use.

  • how did u make the gripper so awsome

  • @tingeypa Very Nice. I'm a senior and I'm working with the nxt robots right now. and I have to say, You came up with something very clever. Best I can do is put 2 touch sensors and 1 ultra sonic sensor on it so it continuously can avoid obsticals. Let me know where "brickstick" is available at please.

  • Very good creation. Have you got any pictures of this on nxtlog? or any more information on the mechanics other than the .ldd?

Could i also post this to my blog, and two others i contribute to?

    Yours, Airkraft

P.s. great choice of music too!

  • I don't have any other pictures on NXTLog. I will see if I can get something up there. I haven't made any other information on the mechanics. You are welcome to post the LDD & link to the video on blogs.

  • what material needed to make it and how to make it
