  • Excellent Collection

  • Lataji, please dont make us to cry and weep.....

  • wah wah wah wah wah wah.......great....many thanks to uploader.

  • I agree with vnr1945 that this song of Kalyanji Veerji Shah sounds very familiar with Shankar Jaikishan tunes. Whenever I hear this song it reminds me immediately of another very famous song of SJ "dil apna aur preet parayee, kisne hai yeh reet banayee". The two tunes, orchestrization, melody, instruments, and of course both rendered by Lata Ji, whenever I hear one song, it reminds me of the other. If I am not wrong, Kalyan Ji did few initial films singly, as this one, Anandji joined him later.

  • @tubepipevision There were about 8-10 original Music Directors(OP Nayar not included). The rest just came along and got along. Speaking of Shankar Jaikishan. They were assistants to Husnlal & Bhagatram. A fact they never admitted till the end When SJ started with Barsaat they seeked help from MD Ghulam Mohammad. Notice song "Main Zindagi Mein Har Dam Rota Hi Raha Hoon" by Rafi resembles Laila Majnu's(Music: Ghulam Mohammad) "Yeh Jaan Yeh Imaan Bas Allah Ke Liye Hai" by Shamshad. SJ were so so.

  • WOW!!!!!! A beautiful hearttouchable song by Lata ji. "Ankhon mein aansoo hoton pe geet hain" thanks4upload.

  • Something is wrong with this video--- dos not play smoothly-- too many hickups!

  • Thanks a lot for uploading this-- I have been hearing this after about 4 decades. Used to hear this in my early childhood.

  • great and enchanting song. many thanks

  • My thanks are also to Masood bhai for giving the name of starlet as Jabeen Jalil. This extra information helps me in going down the memory lane for enjoying the old songs of that 'golden era' of Hindi film music.

  • Thanks a lot for giving me an opportunity to see the video of one of my favourite songs. A beautiful song in the innocent and sweet voice of Lata Mangeshkar. The orchestration of this song by music composer Kalyanji Anandji is similar to Shankar Jaikishan where accordion, mandolin and violins have been used. Will you please upload Mukesh song Naiana hai jadoo bhare...from the same film?
