for all the idiots out there calling this a fake, just remember that if you dont have a brain it doesnt mean that others dont have it as well.
Amazing work there man you really have taken HAL2000 to its limits, i just wanted to ask some advice but you have not given your email address on your website, can you please message me the address i need some advice.
That's very good. Now what happens when there is background interference from other speakers, TV etc? What sort of mics do you use - ordinary or beamformer?
its a dam good idea ! i proposed using hal's brain for this several years ago but no one seemed interested at the time. This would be perfect for disabled people! dam good work jlipsit
can i get info on where to get the mics(in wall) , also do you thing using blue tooth for mic would be a good option? i remember you had a website a while ago is that still up, you had a ton of info and resources that i really want to reference to now that I'm building a whole house Tony Stark style system
He is using software called Hal2000 just google it. It controls X-10 adaptors. you can buy X-10 adapters for anything from Lamps to TV's to motion sensors. You buy the X-10 devices set them UP on a light then use the software to control it. he has set up 8 mic's to go to his PC so he can control it from everywhere
I'm running a similar AI construct on my machine right now; trying to teach it how to respond more like a human being. If you can give me some information on how you setup your three way dimmer switches, and your climate control settings, that would be awesome. Also, do you have transceivers in each of your cars to allow your computer to ID their locations relevant to some kinda sensor?
Wow, splendid job dude :)

Not hard at all. I could do this with a single computer a couple cameras, a GPS, and some Phantom Power Mics....

@AGeekForever Not many things are too hard after you're given the idea and shown how it's done.
