  • if ur going to make a bong out of plastic thn this laser cold do that easily for the holes and cutting it

  • Heh, were can I get one?

  • San Benedetto Agua di Italia :D

  • Need a Hell of a Powersupply ?? What are the specs for the PS ?

  • Nice work!

What kind of safety goggles did you use?

  • OMGOMGOMGOGM I want

  • wats wid da music

  • Nice laser!

Any idea what the gas mix ratio is? Any additional gasses besides just Co2, N2, and He?

  • have you tried resistance tests with other barriers? like duct tape, a paperback book, a sheet-rock fragment, charcoal, wood, and aluminum pans?

  • you give an expansive laser to a responsible adult, this is exactly what you should expect out of it.

  • what wavelength is this laser

  • dont point that into anyones eyes :)

  • now i am scared

  • @13blacksoal

    Scared about what

  • do you have to fire it in short bursts?

  • laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame

  • hmm something tlls me if you stand in front of it you will get sever burns and die? that would makea great security system xD breaks in laser to the face

  • salve una domanda dove avete trovato un laser da 50watt???

io ne possiedo uno di 500mW e buca solo le plastiche scure e va da dio

  • oh curtains

  • where the hell can u get that==

  • janie's got a gun

  • u shouldve put water in the bottle

  • you should rotate the bottle while the laser is on, so that it will cut the top off)

  • i bet this thing cant even cut a black balloon....

  • @maximilli111 you cant cut balloons... you pop them. My 200mW green laser will burst a balloon as soon as you point the laser at it.

  • @trickster208

Dude......what the hell are you talking about? 50W CO2 laser...this will cut through 2mm plastic in no time. Try that with your stupid tiny pointer.

  • you should've cut it through the half

  • it would be funny if the switch got stuck

  • @shino245 then he would died xD

  • @shino245 Not funnier than him pulling the plug....

  • always wear safety glasses!!!!

  • Can I use it for laser shows??? I mean using an external X/Y galvos. Is it possible?

What's the price for your laser? :)

  • Co2 is in the IR spectrum, So without a converting it to green(and loseing a good chunk of power in the process). Most projectors nowadays are 500mW to 5w diodes opposed to gas lasers.

  • techniquely it can with a YVO4 or erbium compound frequency crystal/lense.

Though in general its alot more effiecent to just use a Y3Al5O12 pump in the first place over a gas tube, but still can be done at cost of efficiency.

allso note that Single amps use the same process

  • @Lokivoid lol

  • @Lokivoid so how would you make 1064nm ligh to feed the ktp to make green , from 10600nm ?

  • @Lokivoid im still wating ??????????

  • What kind of distance can you get with similar effects?

  • NEVER cut PVC, or other chlorinated plastics (Lexan and PC board are also strongly discouraged) with a Co2 laser. PVC in particular will give off chlorine gas, which is not only HIGHLY CORROSIVE to the machine, but also dangerous for any nearby people.

  • Nope considering the laser it self is in a low pressure (GLASS) tube Hydrochloride has no effect. As for the electronics there all coated with resists includeing the transformer coils, Allso note Chlorine is not as corrosive as you think majority of metals are resistant to it without a strong oxidizer allso applied. And PVC contains vary little chlorine ions for its overall mass so theres not enough of it, carcinogens on the other hand is a diffrent story.

  • Not bad buddy! Poi la san benedetto in combinazione on la musica..fantastico! Homemade o comperato?

  • grande ^_^

  • put some water in the bottle! lol

  • OK!

as soon as possible try to burn a bottle full of water!
