The accident was not in 1992 in Roskilde, but in 2000...it was a a combo of people huddling up because of bad weather and several speakers quiting which made people push forward to much if I'm not mistaken...when the pushing got really bad people started getting trembled upon, 9 died and several where in injured..you can look it up, its also the year they made exlusive live cd's of each festival they went to, I have the one of Pink Pop Holland.

when I stared snowboarding (1992) Porch kept me going.. stayed at our cottage far from skilifts; walked up that hill with DryFish on my back; the board that went down Popokatepetl's volcanic sands (thnx Ivo for borrowing it to me for the whole year to come!!).. you try to learn to snowboard with Pearl Jam TEN in your walkman; ouch!!.. Burton had a promo back in early 90-ies.. PORCH with a bunch of cool kids leaving the challet/ its porch & creating this amazing synchronised turn at Porch's 0:28

I've never been snowboarding, I think I'd kill myself but I did do ALOT of rollerblading listening to TEN in my walkman back in 92-93..just took it up again and have it in my ipod...makes me feel young again...my mid life crisis is in full swing and it feels great! lol

I want audiences to fucking rock and this intensity comes at a price. There is something called as "dangerous fun". I am not saying we should not prevent accidents within reason but if it means to include wave breakers at critical points I say, relax and let things go their way.

big difference how eddie used to sing this song in the early 90's and the way his performance is these days... now it seems to lack of intesity, vibration and feeling. iN THE 2000'S the growling and certain tones don't electrify anymore in the way he sings songs like alive, dissident, once, why go, jeremy, etc, etc..anyway, he`s still a really great musician and powerful singer though....

yeah, you're right. it happens to some singers that they can't keep sounding the same after through years, but a lot more they do sound the same, and even when their voices have changed a bit, they keep giving the same feeling and vibe the their crowds. Eddie still has a powerful voice, no doubt abou it. See the performance he did in the Rock Honors the Who, his voice was amazingly powerful. Maybe he just wants to sing the old PJ stuff with some style.anyway, I agree, he's A number ONe...

Yes he does. It was the same day as the final. June 26 1992. Later that day, after the final, Nirvana played on the same stage. Man I widh I was on Roskilde that year.

This was a great show and I'm glad that I saw it live, 15 years ago. :) And that I saw them again, exactly 15 years later - to the day.

However, am I the only one who remembers that there was a big fight between Stone & Eddie vs someone in the audience in 1992? This guy gets up on stage, gives Stone a kick and then rushes back to the crowd. A couple of minutes later; same(?) guy once again gets up on stage and gives Stone another kick.

While I personally would love to see this entire concert on DVD, I'm afraid that only Danish Radio (DR) have it recorded - and I doubt that they're in a rush to release the whole concert to the public, especially since I could imagine that negotiating the fees to PJ would be quite an obstacle.

The only footage I've found so far is very low resolution news footage (on the BBC & CNN websites). According to the police report on the tragedy, two Danish TV stations (Denmarks Radio (DR) and TV2 I assume) were in possesion of some news footage, as well as some bootleggers had been recording the concert on video. However, I doubt that any of that will see the light of day any time soon.
