  • 3x(1+6)=21stupid ad

  • You actually remind me of Einstein, but not because of your look, but because you are such a likeable person! And from good sources I know Einstein was a lovely person, too.

  • boring... yawn!

  • This professor (Professor Martyn Poliakoff) is awesome, tonight I was just watching his videos, God make it possible to see him some time :)

I like his research criteria, and his aptitude in teaching a looking to the world

  • I bet the professor doesn't use gel to make that hair...but instead a Van de Graff generator! To make that awsome hair!

  • "Most of my colleagues do not look like me because they've lost their hair already."

    Oh, snap!

  • Wish he was my dad, then i would also have this cool career and awesome hair.

  • this guy is living the rockstar lifestyle

  • 19000th viewer.. THat wAs cool :D

  • Brilliant comeback by the Prof XD " Most of my colleagues dont have hair like mine because they have lost it already " XD

  • I love this guy. He is so hipster it isnt even fair. I would DIE if I had him as a professor or tutor or something of that sort.

  • @cutiecookie23 I did have him as a lecturer in my first year of Uni

  • @boo453 you lucky DOG

  • dont mean to be rude, but considering how old i think he is, how DOES he still have all his hair?

to be honest, im very surprised it hasnt been burned off during an experiment...

  • @osmo250 lol

  • This guy is so cool it's really incredible

  • he is chuck Norris's Father

  • Technology does have its place: this most wonderful, self-effacing and articulate professor is spreading goodwill for science through his videos. Only good can come of this.

  • Einstein invented the light bulb.

  • "They don´t look like me, because they lost their hair already" EPIC!

  • I'm going to guess that Einstein's hair had a lot to do with Aspergers; simply that his mind was so focused on something important like physics that everything else fades away. I have Aspergers so I tend to do that whenever I am thinking of something fun (for me it is Computer Science) and it seems even things like sleep/food/water are simply no longer a part of my mind when I am in that "Aspie Zone". Personally, I would be frustrated to no end if I thought hair/looks were so important.

  • unfashionable glasses? he and i had them before they went mainstream...

  • V Kool

  • <3

  • professor martin is AWSOME!!!

  • two people seem to be wearing a toupee. I cannot bring myself to not like Martyn Poliakoff. I think a random drive is in order, I have to meet this man.

  • I think Einstein looked like he did because when he became so deeply involved in study things like a haircut were the LEASE of his worries!

  • cause they lost their hairs already lolol

  • Not all scientists look like you....but they should.

  • LOVE!!!

  • Tha man's a dude, Lebowski-style. What you see is what you get. Top stuff.

  • thats a scientist hair style......

  • This man is the greatest scientist alive and is an inspiration to us all

  • @Maxpow33r i prefer hawking.

  • My father is a doctor, when he comes home from the chemistry laboratory he would wash his white laboratory coat in bleach--all by itself, because the chemical residue might ruin the other clothes; functionality is the image of science, and it is my entire memory of my father, a tie and white laboratory coat.

  • That is the scientist image, as we see a focus on functionality: That is what the artists say, unkempt hair or simple kept hair, functional cloths such as laboratory coats, cargo pants, lack of jewelry because of environmental hazards (I stopped wearing rings and necklaces when I started working around 12,000-volt power supplies with a floating ground), special shoes (yup I got those); when you meet people who are social conscious is when we get the hair styling, jewelry, and designer clothing.

  • haha....lost hair....

  • Old White Male Afro!

  • i wish i had the guts to wear my hair like that in public.

  • Cracked me up!

  • when i was in elementary, i aspired to have hair like einstein's.

then i realized that being japanese, my mom and grandma had a better chance of looking like einstein than i'd ever have.

  • love him.. to be honest, i watch these movies expecting to see him.. ive always liked to learn from other ppl's experience, and he has alot of it..

  • I don't look like scientists, scientists look like me...

    Exactly :D

  • E=MC Squared. That's about what I know about Einstein. Also Einsteinium is named after him.

  • omg... i would really like him to be my chemistry teacher. I hate chemistry tbh... but i think with him as my teacher, chemistry wouldnt be stale and boring.

  • Nice to know that there are modern 9 year olds who even know what Einstein looked like.

  • @eatmorchikin123 So what you're saying is that he is consciously playing the part of the stereotypical scientist, and what he would really like to do is something else entirely, and that makes him a "turd". Do you have proof of this?

  • @eatmorchikin123 Il n'est pas en mauvaise foi. Et vous êtes la personne qui est une merde. Vous ne comprenez pas ce que j'ai dit? Allez demander à Sartre.

  • his hair is awesome

  • *cough**projection**cough*

  • me too lol

  • hello

  • lol

  • wut is this????

  • lol

  • was geht?

  • 0:34 Thomas Edison!

  • his brother is a film director i think

  • Your right. His brother is Stephan Poliakoff who was a film director.

  • @pnoman123 and my dad was an extra in one of his movies.its a small world

  • This guy is a rock star and he dosent even know it.

  • I'm a fan thats for sure!

  • Agreed

  • Looks a lot like Jonathan Pryce.

  • Comment removed

  • he is such a legend :)

  • Is there a photo of the supercritical fluids machine on the back wall?

  • One day I hope to be a mixture of Martin Poliakoff and Walter Lewin. Great educators and scientist!

  • I am a scientist and I definitely don't look like a stereotypical scientist, but I love your look!

  • well i love your bushy hair professor! :D

  • He lectures me! Woo!

  • Absolute legend. Wish I could have the honour of being taught by him.

  • nice guy, wish I had a teacher like him
