What you're saying there is a load of bull. There is not a rule on how to slap. There are actually different ways of slapping you see. This one suits me the best. Coming in like sideways isn't working for me, my hand structure kind of let's me not do it. My thumb is that ok you see. So, that's the only way I can slap. And to sirstingray, it was a long time ago, my musical ear have improved a lot and that helps for being tight. I'm actually very tight on the rythm usually now a days.

hmmm, what I do most of the time is finding songs I think is cool, download tabs on the internet and learn to play them. If you just practice enough you'll get them eventually. But lessons are a good way, sorry mate, but they are. If you have the right teacher it can be even more fun than playing in itself. I take lessons to places, and have great teachers both places, and I learn so much!And you got to practice, I now play, maybe 12 hours a week or something, I didn't when I made this thing.

If you don't have the will of practicing you will never be good, I'm still an amateur, but seein other people play, like my teachers, are a ood inspiration for practicing, making you wanna be as good as them you know. And playing with bands is fun and you get better by doing that, not only on the bass, but you get better musical hearing, if you can say that. anyway, PRACTICE ALOT!!! if you want to be good...

Stone Cold Bush is the fifth on E x2, then the pop an octave higher, then an open E, then the third on the E x2 followed by the pop. Its the same thing just seperated by an open slap.
