Anyway.... How can you say that religion is a waste of time or that faith is to stop poeple from investigating?? How can anybody think that space, earth, and human body, all so intricate and connected in everyway, was random, lucky, or chance??
And just because someone belives in God doesn't mean that we don't investigate. A person can be religious and still curious, have a need to know how things work. There is no way the universe was without designer.

This is not an insult to you, but rather an observation of the restrictions of the human mind and understanding: I think that saying because something exists of such huge complexity (as the Universe) that ergo, there MUST be a designer -- a divine being of ultimate power -- is simply small-minded. Why does one require the other? I can explain why. It is simply human beings projecting themselves on something much greater.

No offense or anything..I respect your beliefs, but the universe is 78 billion light years large filled with galaxies just like ours...there are let alone about 300,000 billion stars in the milky way that some are believed to have solar orbits just like ours...we have found bacteria on mars and frozen oceans on the moons of jupiter that could have supported sea life...just imagine that for most of the stars in our galaxy times the estimated 500 billion galaxies in the universe...

All these complex organisms cannot be brought without intelligence, therefore there is a God, outside matter, because only supernaturally can something come from nothing. And within the creation are laws that keep itself, but God is not itself subject to those laws. God doesn't NEED to be created. If there is no time, he always WAS.

The odds of something like us happening are like 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 ^ 99. Remember before there was living creatures, all we had was matter. Matter is just matter, it doesn't HAVE an objective, it doesn't WANT anything, it doesn't have any PREFERENCE, it is not directed or guided by a purpose or a GOAL.
