IMO the only think the English dubbed version has on this is the music - god damn anyone who didn't go to tears - even if only slightly - upon hearing that version of the "Tears of Life" track from the Mewtwo Strikes Back U.S score.
Startmirca, it is pointless to compare Mewtwo and Lucario as there's enough differences between them to make them both very unique characters. But in defense of Mewtwo, how is he a crybaby? You have to keep in mind that he was grieving as an infant -- of COURSE he would be that distraught. Lucario, on the other hand, was grieving over Aaron even as an adult (which I don't see anything wrong with, actually).
And Lucario IS fearful. He is terrified of abandonment. Remember?

@startmirca Mewtwo can show emotions, this does not make him weaker. Actually, this does make him stronger because he can control the powers within himself by letting them out.

Mewtwo's friend died , then Mewtwo became a generic "imma take over da world villain " even to those who had nothing to do with his past.
