His counter attack ability, kicking ability, as well as play making ability make him a better option for wallabies. If you watch the games you'd see how Cooper forces the defence to line up tight which makes it better for the wallabies wings.

Shame he's lost form - a serious drop in form at that. Hope he regains his stride - hopefully the move to the South of France at Toulon will help him. France is where players seem to catch their form, as well as their eye on cash. Its been a Godsend for the likes of Wilkinson, Balshaw, Haskell, Nie Kerk etc. who argueably are playing the best rugby of their careers.

it's all well and good having super 15 teams running around on hard pitches not tackling each other, but lets see the chiefs for example coming to leicester on a wet muddy day and deal with the home team actually making tackles. ill admit, there's more talent in the southern hemisphere but games between the super 15 and heineken cup teams would be tight
