Problem was (is) that cocaine was so much fun and so damn addictive to some people that the fun part, at some point, became elusive and the chase to reclaim it was stronger than ever. Once the fun was lost, it was gone forever, but addicts, being caught in the insane cycle of addiction, love to chase what can't be caught. But it was a fun time and this song captures it perfectly.
