remember this so clearly. And for the life of me I couldn't understand why she didn't make it to the top 12. The only thing I can think of is the song that she sang the following week: EnVogue's "Don't Let Go". Imo, that song is not meant to be sang as a solo, and I don't think she truly showcased her voice singing that. That might have been her downfall.

She got voted off cuz she was too similar to the other 4 divas (Melinda, Jordin, Lakisha and Stephanie) the first 2 weeks she was 4th best with Melinda, lakisha and stephanie doing better but Jordin was doing worse) it was the final week when all the divas outperformed her along with Gina (though she still did better than Haley and Antonella) the fact that 4 other ppl were similar and she did the worse job out of the 5 that week meant bye bye for her

She did GREAT in every performance... The only reason I can find for her elimination is that she was in the wrong season :S I guess that she has the diva style, and there were to many divas there already (Lakisha, Melinda, Stephanie and maybe even Jordin). Im sure that if she was in season 5, 7 or 8 she would have gone further. Especially 8 (the only diva was Lil Rounds and, come on, she had one good performance over 7 <.<)

ok we had two various takes on this song by ms. grace and sloan. Alexis was the blue eyed soul version it was crisp and clean. sabrina had pitchy moments and over shot some of the notes. having said that sabrina has more of the voice to carry the song I dont think the arrangement AND STYLE CHOICE helped her in anyways. so in that regard she missed the point especially when you sing ARETHA you have to be damn near flawless. i SAY ALEXIS WINS but sabrina had some good moments

Ok, so heres my thoughts. I thought it was really good, but it was just kinda pitchy in a few spots. And I just felt like she changed the beat, and the arrangement up a little too much for my taste(I know Im a hypocrite because I loved Adams Ring of Fire), but overall it was a 8/10 for me because of the pitchy moments.
